Senior: Virtual Learning Academy Charter School allowed me to safely concentrate on my education from home after 2 years of being bullied. Senior: I really loved my high school. I was a transfer student freshman year and I was very nervous to start at my new school. However, I was given a friendly welcome and a great education. I first hated the fact that I had to move away from my old school but I realized that life at this school was probably much better than it would have been at my old school education wise. Senior: I am a senior and over the course of attending Lebanon High School I've seen the school itself transition through 3 different principals, a shift in staffing every year, and amazing support for the students, of course. Lebanon High School wouldn't be one of those schools that are very rich nor very poor, it's a school that holds students of all race and gender that we even have unisex bathrooms available for those who don't feel comfortable in a gender based bathroom. The student body is made up of many different talent and we have access to basically everything anyone can come up with and that opportunity for an incoming freshman or curious junior makes up LHS as a great community.... Parent: Portsmouth schools are amazing. Wish they were more open during covid but we understand what everyone is going through. The remote learning has improved since last Spring and if anything this might have taught everyone how to not lose school days if a snow day is called after covid....school can go on! District has great communication with parents and tries to get families involved. Parent: The Cooperative middle school and Exeter High School are good schools. Most of the teachers and support staff care and have handled the pandemic efficiently. EXeter High School has great opportunities for high schoolers.. There is a wide variety of really interesting courses available. Some favorites are creative writing, forensics and Shakespeare. The teachers of these classes in particular are very passionate about the subject matter. The levels of college prep, honors and advanced placement or dual enrollment for many core classes is great. Unfortunately the administration is what holds these schools back from being excellent. There is no accountability for students and it just gets worse the further on in the schools they get. This coupled with no consequences for students from parents is a bad situation. Overall I am happy my children attended or are currently attending these schools.... Read 15 reviews

Senior: My personal experience with The Amherst school district has been very good. from Amherst Middle School to Souhegan High School the teachers have been providing students with the knowledge they need to continue to be successful. The teachers in Middle school prepared us well for high school making the transiting a little less scary. My personal experience with High school has been very good. Even with loosing a few years to Covid, Souhegan stepped up through those tough times and continued to provide each kid with the good education they always have provided. I give credit to all the teachers at Souhegan for always be available to help, and being another person to talk to when I need. All the faculty and staff are nothing but nice at Souhegan and that has helped make the high school experience so much better. Senior: I liked the buildings, they are all newly renovated. The kids there are really nice and the teachers support their students. They offer night classes to adults or students that do not prefer day school. The proms are fun and they have JROTC and it's a great program! Parent: Overrall a safe nurturing environment for my now Senior , who has attended since kindergarten. The opportunity is there academically to be challenged and instructed at a college level in high school. Faculty seem to be interested and caring towards all students. Lacking considerably is the athletic programs for females. There is no emphasis or coaching staff volunteering or hired from the elementary level to instill , guide, and condition the females into better and accomplished athletes .
