Freshman: I loved going to Lincoln a majority of the time. There were so many opportunities for me there and I got to try a lot of new things. I loved most of my teachers, there were a couple who were very strict and pushy but the rest I enjoyed. Overall I had a great experience there and am glad I had the chance to attend school there.... Freshman: Granger was an amazing school. The teachers tried their best and succeeded in getting students for high school and college. The only thing I would change are sports. The schools forte was never in sports rather it was weak. Granger contained a very good curriculum which I have used in and outside of school. Similarly, there were many school programs such as Grizzleaders which was a club similar to key club. In this club students did community service along with PSA’s to the entire school. Junior: Wow. I have to say that the academics at this school really push you which can definitely be tough on a middle schooler. I remember not going to school one day because I was so stressed about my home work. That being said, the teachers really push you to be better and I personally think I learned very well at this school. I personally never found a club I could really get into (the music program is really based on favoritism and everyone knows it). In addition, the food is average but way too expensive for a school lunch. For diversity, I would say the school is almost entirely Indians and white people. Most of the students came from decently wealthy families which made me, for one, feel very out of place. I was a new student here in 7th grade and I had absolutely no idea where to go with no help. Overall, the academics and teachers are absolutely wonderful at this school but it does lack in some other areas.... Read 3 reviews

Alum: My overall experience at this school was pretty good, the teachers were amazing, the administration was nice, although at least when I was there my classmates were not the best and the science program is lacking but the amazing math and English program make up for that. Alum: I liked the organization of this school. Although it seemed huge at first, it is actually a small building at looking back, it was easy to navigate. I liked that teachers always seemed happy or excited to teach. Parent: I have one graduate from WJHS and one currently enrolled and I could not be more pleased. The classes are small, giving attention to students that is so valuable and my students feel as if they are getting personal attention. The staff is incredibly kind and giving of their time. WJHS also has a required volunteerism aspect for graduation and I applaud it. Students volunteer within the community and learn the value of helping within the community. My children have learned so much from this opportunity. The school admin is attentive to my students needs and we cannot say enough good things about them.
