Devils Lake High School

Parent: Our experience with Devils Lake High School has been overwhelmingly positive. DLHS offers many opportunities for students while still offering that desirable small town feel. Teachers are friendly and approachable. Staff always greet you with a smile. Our daughter has been challenged with the many advanced classes offered by DLHS. As a junior, our daughter also has the opportunity to take dual credit courses offered by our local college. Our family has also had the opportunity to be a host family to two wonderful exchange students through the EF (Education First) organization. DLHS has been very welcoming to our exchange students. DLHS offers free meals, a free activity pass, and also waives all participation fees for the exchange students. Our exchange students have appreciated this very much. Overall, Devils Lake High School has been a great school for our children.

Minnewaukan High School

Senior: I am currently a Senior at Minnewaukan High School and I've been going here since pre-k. Minnewaukan is a small school with roughly 200 high school students, at the most. You get to know the teachers and other fellow students very well, everyone here is very friendly and especially to any new comers. Educational wise, Minnewaukan, is fairly good and easy to keep up with but if you need any extra help, the teachers are very willingly to assist. The only down fall I can think of is the location, which is about 15 miles from anyone lives.
