Nazareth Area High School
#135 Best Public High School Teachers in Pennsylvania
- Nazareth Area School District, PA
- Rating 3.86 out of 5 299 reviews
Senior: The teachers are excellent, and technology integration is very good. Friendly and open environment as well, with many opportunities available to students. On the flipside, my personal experience with counselors has been middling, and it is difficult to contact them for information and help with issues unless one has scheduled an appointment with them in the office. I've also seen drugs passed around and talked about casually in school, despite campaigns against them. The school has recently been focusing on its athletics program too, and has been pouring money in that direction. We'll see how it goes.

Northampton Area High School
#336 Best Public High School Teachers in Pennsylvania
- Northampton Area School District, PA
- Rating 3.67 out of 5 219 reviews
Senior: I participate on the varsity track and field and cross country teams. I enjoy the closeness of the members on these teams. I have made lasting friendships. I enjoyed being a role model as a captain for the past 2 years and help to push the younger members achieve their personal best. Also, Northampton high school has caring teachers who are wiling to go the extra mile and help you be successful! I also had the opportunity to be a member of several other clubs, such as winter track, volunteer club, PE club, and Leadership club. I learned a lot of valuable life skills being a member of these clubs. I enjoyed helping others in my community during volunteer club. Helping others gave me a sense of purpose and I enjoyed spreading happiness to others in my community.

Pen Argyl Area High School
- Pen Argyl Area School District, PA
- Rating 3.43 out of 5 83 reviews
Alum: Pen Argyl is a small school, which means everyone knows each other. This could be good or bad depending on how you look at it. I found it beneficial because I was able to make some close friends, and I was able to be involved with many different extracurricular activities. The style of academics is different than normal schools because you get a more personal interaction, but the academics are somewhat easier because it would not be beneficial to have almost half the school struggle. There are rules that are unfairly strict such as dress code and graduation attire. As a school with no air conditioning, it is hard to be a female to find shorts with the required length. The air conditioning became a sever problem to points where the school was closed for the day out of fear of heat strokes. Other than these nitpicky pointers, the school has an overall well-rounded academic system.
