Freshman: Just a little back story, this is my first year of college and I am going for my culinary degree and baking/pastry certification. I'll be transferring to TWU after two years to get my bachelor's degree. So far, all of my classes have been great! All of my professors and chefs have been very specific about the topic being taught, helpful, encouraging, hard working, and even funny. Not only have my professors been amazing, the other staff have been too. I had a hard time figuring out what classes to sign up for and even what route to go, but one of the head advisers emailed and called multiple times to help me even when she didn't necessarily have to. I am also involved in the art club at Southeast Tarrant county college and the two teachers are so light hearted and free spirited. I love creating without feeling like someone is judging my work and they have taught the club how to do many different types of art such as, textile printing, clay, leather carving, and so much more....
