Senior: At Aledo High School, I really appreciate the fact that they encourage every student to choose a career pathway. For example, I am on the health care pathway so by the end of my high school experience I will be a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant. One thing that I would change about Aledo High School is the school's diversity. In Aledo I feel like there is not as much diversity as there is in a school further in the metropolitan area. I feel like more diversity could enhance my learning experience by exposing me to new cultures, religions, and ethnicities.

Junior: So far in my high school experience, I have endured many encounters that I feel I would not have had the opportunity to be apart of in a big, or private school. The independent school district of Peaster High School is a very close community that feels like a family. Although there’s many more good things to weigh out the bad, the are still minor details that I would love to see change in the future. For instance, the cafeteria food, although this may seem very small, many kids, unlike me, eat a school lunch everyday. In my opinion, the food needs to be fresher and more nutritional. Another major thing that I see that many other students may not see to be an issue is the communication with only some of the teachers. I see that all teachers must have a good communication ability to work with students to allow them to better their grades and acquire help. All in all, I believe Peaster Independent School District is an amazing school with only minor things to be changed in the future.

Weatherford High School

Alum: Weatherford High School has an administration that always tries very hard to make the best decisions for its students. Weatherford has a lot to admire about the way they run things and the opportunities that they give students. Every student leaves Weatherford with knowledge and tools under their belt, even if they weren't the most dedicated to their education. Weatherford has so much to offer, but some things stand out. The programs they have for disabled students is arguably one of the best in the country, and they are always willing to accommodate students' needs. We also have outstanding officers who are always on campus offering protection and even guidance at times.

Arlington High School

Senior: The first three words to come to my mind when I think of AHS is community, comfort, and fun! The community that this school has allowed me to cultivate is unlike anything I’ve ever been a part of. The care that each teacher and classmates have for each other is remarkable, which leads me into my next description- comfort. At Arlington High, I have been encouraged to be the very best version of myself- and not to act like someone I am not. I find comfort in the very walls of AHS, it is a safe space for me to be who I am. One of the best parts about Arlington High School, however, is how much fun I have had over the last four years. I’ve made some of the best friends and had experiences I will never forget, all because of my wonderful school.

Senior: Something everyone in azle will vouch for, is our school spirit. The whole town lights up of excitement every Friday night, and crowds the whole stands with fans to see the boys play. This town is small, which makes it feel more like a family, everyone knows everyone, which sometimes has its cons. Switching to Azle for my 4th grade year, was probably the best decision I’ve ever made. The teachers are amazing, and most will connect with you and get to know you personally and build a bond. I’ve met my lifetime best friend in middle school, and not even high school broke us apart, and now I’m able to say that I will be attending college with my best friends. We’re roommates, actually:).

Senior: A small and personal environment. Personal connections to help the students succeed. The community across all the three schools are very well connected and extremely friendly. The staff do whatever it takes to help each and every student succeed, no matter where they come from, or what their home life is. They help every student, every day, doing whatever it takes.
