Works Here: I love LFCDS because it is such an inspiring place to teach and learn. Every day, my colleagues find innovative ways to engage students in asking the big, important questions about our world. I see students working in teams, using design thinking to create projects that address authentic problems, and I see them working as individuals to hone original ideas and find their own voice. The students at LFCDS are developing the skills they need to navigate the social complexities of growing up in our digital age and approach sophisticated academic challenges with poise and confidence. It is thrilling to teach in an environment in which character really counts and, to a person, everyone demonstrates an unparalleled commitment to the social-emotional and intellectual growth of our young people.
