Parent: I have twin boys in Junior Kindergarten at PES. The transition to remote learning for their class was pretty incredible. Remote learning for kids that young is challenging, but their teachers have been so responsive, incorporated one-on-one time with each student (which my kids LOVE) and have offered a good mix of activities and games that can be done easily at home as well as more traditional worksheets. They've worked hard to include the planned special activities like our JK Zoo and strawberry picking field trip in new ways. Its been pretty awesome as a parent to "participate" in some of the traditions from their classroom. And unexpected benefits came out of this like the Zoo project being made into a video we could share with family who live far away. We already loved their teachers but this experience has brought a whole new level of respect! Our boys have continued to thrive and learn this spring even in the midst of change and challenge, and we are very happy w PES!
