Jackson High School
#202 Best Public High School Teachers in Michigan
- Jackson Public Schools, MI

Senior: Jackson High School has helped me become the person I am today! The school system is amazing and whenever there are a few bumps in the road they always seem to quickly find a solution! However if I were to have one negative comment it is that the new student parking lot is not at all feasible with the students needs, there's not enough parking for the one hundred plus students to accommodate.

Western High School
#297 Best Public High School Teachers in Michigan
- Western School District, MI
- 314 reviews
Junior: I like Western a lot and I wouldn’t want to attend anywhere else. Most of the teachers are passionate about their jobs and are available to help students out whether it’s to make up a test or even just to talk. The athletics are very nice and have quite a support system from the community and parents. The facilities are pretty well maintained and are fairly modern as well. There are also many opportunities for students to try and get a step ahead such as early college, some AP classes, job shadowing, work studies, the use of Xello and more. I would like, though, to see more AP classes, a better math system that flowed into the next level, a weighted GPA for sure would be amazing, and better communication between the school and early college representatives. Overall, though, I like this school a lot and I’m happy I came.

Hanover-Horton High School
#364 Best Public High School Teachers in Michigan
- Hanover-Horton School District, MI
- 114 reviews
Senior: Overall my experience at Hanover-Horton has been great. I have attended this school since kindergarten and I couldn't imagine going to any other school. The teachers are great and the school offers many great tools. The only bad thing about my school is that because of how little students attend and the amount of staff we have, we aren't able to offer a lot of extra electives.

East Jackson High School
#371 Best Public High School Teachers in Michigan
- East Jackson Community Schools, MI
- 29 reviews
Senior: East Jackson has a very tight knit community. Since Middle School I've been taught to be part of the community. Everyone generally gets along with one another, there are very few fights, and everyone knows everyone else. Learning is easy, and it's easy to get help. Some things the school does are unfair, for example issues with taking online classes and GPA, or not having classes that are advanced enough for some students.

Michigan Center Junior/Senior High School
- Michigan Center School District, MI

Freshman: Michigan Center high school is a fantastic school. Here, we are one big family and everyone repsects and likes each other. The teachers are so helpful with the students and they explain things the best they can. They make friends with the students instead of just being a mean adult to hand out homework. The assignments are fairly easy but hard at the same time. The school is one big community and when people of Michigan center do great thinga, everyone is proud and we all feel welcome. The sports are one of a kind and we've had all good seasons. The football, basketball, bowling, hockey, cheer, all had good seasons. Now track, softball, baseball, cross country are going big and they're ready for anything thrown at them. Michigan Center has some flaws too. Like we're not the smartest schooland the lunches can be improoved.Thank you for taking the time to see and learn about Michigan Center, a place qhere everyone is welcome. Go Cards!

Vandercook Lake High School
- Vandercook Lake Public Schools, MI
- 44 reviews
Senior: Throughout my twelve years of attending Vandercook Lake Schools, my overall experience has been pretty great. Even though it is the only school I have ever known, I have to say that it is a fantastic school. The teaching staff is awesome, and even the staff that are not teachers are very helpful. They all go out of their way and do their best to help each and every student. The academics are also very good, I believe that the school has done a very good job preparing their students for the SAT and even college. While I am at school I feel very safe as well. With the officer in the building everyday, and practicing drills in case of an emergency helps me to feel safe while at school. Overall I think that Vandercook Lake is a great school and it has helped me become the person I am today.

T.A. Wilson School

Alum: Amazing staff and facilitators with high aspirations for the students they teach. Instructing students with a more intense background from the inner city, funding is crucial for this school as the students are already being counted out.
I recommend reviewing this school because it is what's best for America.

Freshman: They try to say that there isn’t a lot on bullying but there is and when you get bullied they don’t do anything about it. I told them that I was being bullied and they didn’t even talk to the bully. They don’t provide lunches, so a lot of students don’t eat. We get in trouble for being even 1min late when sometime you have to walk from one side of campus to the other. Some teachers are nice but most of the students are kinda annoying. Sometimes they put you in classes that you don’t need and they won’t let you drop them. They also make up dumb classes and force you to take them, and if you fail it is permanently on your transcript.
