Sophomore: Overall, Clayton High School is amazing when it comes to academics. You will never have a teacher who isn't passionate about what they teach, and will provide yo with the resources necessary to succeed. One down fall is the athletics. We have a no-cut policy at our school and everyone must have play time. As A result to this, there isn't a sport culture. But overall a great school!

Senior: Every aspect of Ladue Horton Watkins High School is amazing, and I would not trade my high school experience for anything! We have amazing school spirit, especially since opening our brand new football field and stadium with lights for night games! Our football team won the State Championship in 2018, so we have an amazing program! We have tons of talented musicians at our school, not to mention wonderful art programs of every aspect. The teachers genuinely care about how the students are doing, they know you by name, so it gives you a feeling that you matter. At LHWHS, the students are not just numbers, they are people.

High School Senior: MRH is amazingly unique school. The rough past and metamorphosis of MRH into an award winning school instills a sense of pride in every MRH student. Some of the changes that were made at MRH was the implementation of sustainability initiatives. School gardens, bee hives, aquaponics labs and compost bins and just some of the projects that students are connected with at MRH. MRH also hosts its own student and staff led food pantry, Weekend on Wheels, for the students and families of the district that need assistance with food on the weekends. Lastly, MRH also has a one to one laptop program. Every student of the school is given a laptop. Technology is integrated into every classroom and most homework is done online. Students email, turn in homework, and complete projects all on their personal laptop which is theirs to keep at the completion of their senior year.

Senior: Unlike a lot of other schools in America, University City High School is a progressive educational facility. There, you can see many different ethnicities, religions, and races interacting together. Even though UCity is a smaller scaled relatively poor school, all their movements to promote a healthy education in a country where differences are almost tabooed have proved to be effective. Does a ranking really matter when a school is unable to hint students about what society really is like? It is not about how many AP classes you can take, but how many people you can impact. That is why I love UCity.

Senior: Being a small school, collegiate has offered me many opportunities that I would not be exposed to at any other high school. We are offered amazing internship opportunities geared towards our personal interests. One of the most rewarding aspects of collegiate is that we are connected with two of the most prestigious universities in Missouri (Washington University and St. Louis University). This allows students to become accustomed with these colleges which they have a high possibility of attending. The teachers at collegiate are phenomenal as well. I have never been at a school where teachers have been so invested in seeing you succeed. I don’t give collegiate 5 stars because of administrative personnel. I feel that the leader of our school is not setting students up for success. Collegiate has been amazing overall. Not only have I learned academically, but I have also learned life lessons that I wouldn’t learn anywhere else.
