Senior: The educational aspect of Minooka Community High School is fantastic. It is one of the best high schools in the area as well as in the nation and for good reason. The school offers many unique opportunities in the form of elective classes as well as after school activities. The amount of resources offered to the students is incredible. However, the facilities that house the students are awful. The school is incredibly lacking in funds and the students suffer for it. While offering many programs and opportunities to the students, most are underfunded if not completely unfunded at all. Athletics take precedent over sports and the students who are involved in extra cirriculars mostly pay for the activities out of their own pockets. The school is also lacking in diversity, with most of the faculty and student body being made up of white citizens. Overall, the education offered is incredible, however, the school falls short in other aspects of the educational experience.

High School Senior: Great School! Has a Fellowship of Christian Athletes Huddle which is awesome! The teachers really help you to learn and understand things. The school is very competitive with sports being the main focus. There are also a lot of cliques-like every school. However, there are a lot of very smart and friendly students who do truly care about you.

Senior: Morris Community High School is a close community, the teachers are hands on with every child and truly proves what is means to be a redskin. We have pride that never dies at the high school, our football games are unlike any around us. Everyone knows everyone is very eager to help out whenever needed. We always have such an amazing spring week and homecoming week and our proceeds go to a charity of the students choice. As our school is smaller compared to the bigger schools around us, we have a bond unlike any school, our seniors bond and help freshmen, our incoming classes are always helped by our elder students. As class sizes grow, so does our pride. The classes that are offered help any student get prepared for what is after high school. We are lucky enough to have GAVC which allows us to take classes we are interested in as our careers.
