Senior: I think that Mitchell is a very good school. Sometimes it might be rough, but the teachers know their students potential. Mitchell raises good kids first athletes second. Mitchell has a very good sports program. Mitchell also has clubs that students can join. I was very happy with my time at Mitchell High.

Niche User: The school is small, so there aren't many students which does allow for a lot of one on one time with kids who need the help. I believe that in itself is a very good reason why there is such a huge graduation rate. A number of bright kids leave that school knowing where they're going and what it is they are doing. The athletic department needs some help due to lack of participation, but other than that it is a wonderful school.

Senior: During my Freshman year, we were at the junior high so it felt like we got the building to ourselves. Sophomore year there were a lot of freedoms and activities that we were able to do; for example, we could go out any exit and it was open campus for all students. However, our school went under construction sometime during my sophomore year which limited a lot of the activities and other things that we were able to do. The teachers were great and I learned a lot about both life and education at Gering.

Morrill High School

Middle School Student: Everything meets or exceeds most small school expectations. The only things that I have to complain about is that they don't get good ingredients to make school lunches and that the high school students do not have their own cafeteria and have to walk to the elementary to eat even if they brought their own lunch which is unfair to them.

Senior: Overall, I have had an amazing experience with Scottsbluff High School. My eighth grade year I decided to transfer, but as soon as school started I felt right at home my very first day! Something I would like to see change with my school would to have more involvement from the students in clubs and supporting one another in sports and academics.
