Junior: My experience at United Township High School was challenging. All my teachers treated me well and I got good grades. I made friends and I lost friends. Yes high school does change you for the good and worst. I have always been a nice and respectful kid. I unfortunately was peer pressured and ended up getting suspended. It was my fault and I took full responsibility. It was an eye opener and changed me for the better. The school was understanding and supportive. Did not set me up to be successful in applying for college. They don't tell you so I will. Yes you need at least 2 years of a foreign language, you should take math all 4 years and science, and do not take a study hall. It takes up credits you could've earned, and join at least one club because it looks good on your college applications. Lastly I will say good luck, remember that high school is not everything, don't eat the lasagna, and I promise it gets better.

Junior: I enjoyed the community involvement and teacher faculty. All teachers genuinely care about and get to know you on a personal level. Rockridge also has a great sports program, in which it has 11 sports. I would very much recommend attendance at this school!

Junior: Moline Sr. High School has had a legacy of having capable teachers and many activities and sports for students. The school is being improved with not only a new performing arts facility but also a new athletic facility coming in the next year. There are many activities and clubs for students ranging from Intramurals to Spanish Heritage Club to Robotics Club. The teachers and faculty work hard to make it a safe and friendly environment for all students, and clubs like Natural Helpers also exist to create a system for all students to help each other out and support each other. The only complaints I have would be the athletic facilities, most notably the swimming pool. They are improving the facilities within the next year, however.

Senior: Rock Island High School is a great school. It has many teachers that really care about teaching and helping students. There are many active clubs involved in all sorts of things including robotics, drama, community involvement, and even debate. We have just about every sport that I can think of. Overall, it's a great school. Unfortunately, about every year that I've been a student here I've had at least 3 bad teachers who do all sorts of crazy things. For example, providing an extreme of each learning environment, grading only 3 problems out of a 20+ problem assignment which completely screws up our grade, and literally, not teaching at all, having us learn 100% of the class out of a textbook. Having said this, I've also had multiple teachers that I absolutely love and wish I could have them teach more of my classes.
