    Senior: I moved to Union City starting my junior year. I wasn’t happy at my previous school, so I made the decision to transfer. Turns out, this was the best decision I’ve ever made. While at Union City, I have made true friends, acquired new skills/achievements with the extracurriculars I have joined, and have heightened my education more than I had hoped for. By utilizing skills that my teachers have taught me, I raised my ACT score by 2 points by only taking it once since being at the school. Along with the great education and great people, the motto(s) of the school are great for students to remember during their time at UC and during their time after high school. With the words “NO EXCUSES” and “EXCELLENCE” plastered on our walls, it reminds me to always do my best and never strive for less than excellent.

    Senior: Obion County Central High School is an excellent school. I have really enjoyed my 4 years here. I've made memories and friends that will last a lifetime! I am an A-B student, 4 year varsity football player and 2 year co-ed cheerleader. Sports has played an important role in my high school years. They helped me make friends, understand the true meaning of teamwork, and the importance of a leadership role. The teachers and coaches at OCCHS are exceptional! They push you to strive to be your best with encouraging words and they are always there to help or just listen. I will carry what I've learned these 4 years with me forever and I know I have a bright and promising future because of everyone at Obion County Central!

    Alum: South Fulton was an amazing experience for me personally. I transferred there my senior year and did not know many people. In a short amount of time i became a well known face throughout the school. I made friends and became one of the best football players on the team. Coming in I was nervous and scared about how I would feel about this new school. After graduating I realized that it made me more comfortable in situations where I did not know many people. This helped prepare me for college along with the great teachers and education i received during my time there.

    Senior: Forest Ridge is a great school to attend, the academics are very challenging and the teachers know how to push students to create the best work possible. Since the academics are quite rigorous, there is a slightly stressed and competitive environment at the school. However, this does not mean that the student community is not strong. From my personal experience, everyone is so friendly and welcoming, especially new student entering the high school. I would recommend this school to prepare for college readiness as some of the courses mimic college level work. Athletics is also another fun part of the Forest Ridge experience, there is a no-cut policy that ensure that all students can participate in any sports; this is a great place to meet new people in other grades and where I made some of my best friendships!
