Senior: The learning atmosphere in Portsmouth is motivating and challenging, yet supportive. I have flourished throughout my time at the high school and succeeded in a variety of classes. It has been not only rewarding, but also exciting and fun at every turn. Unfortunately, however, my senior year has been greatly affected by the pandemic. Overall, though, I have felt grateful to go to Portsmouth High School. There have been occasions when I felt that the well-being of the students came second to the reputation of our school, but in general the teachers are extremely caring and approachable.
