- Joseph City Unified School District, AZ
- Rating 4.06 out of 5 16 reviews
Senior: I absolutely love going Joseph City High School. All of the teachers are extremely helpful. They always make time in their busy schedules to help their students. If anyone has any questions, they are willing to answer them as best as they can. The students there are exceptional. Everyone is nice and welcoming, no one ever feels out of place. The entire staff tries their best to help the students. If someone has a problem, the principal tries his best to fix it for them. I've been going to Joseph City High School since the seventh grade, and not once have I thought about ever going someplace else.

Holbrook High School
#2 Best Public High School Teachers in Navajo County
- Holbrook Unified School District, AZ
- Rating 3.97 out of 5 198 reviews
Senior: I am currently a Senior at Holbrook High School, and Holbrook High School is very welcoming to anyone and everyone. Since we are such a small town, we welcome anyone who comes in. The teachers are absolutely amazing! They will take the time to sit down and help you one on one, and they can make you laugh all the time. The teachers truly care for you and your education. Some things that I would like to see change are more funding for books and lab equipment, or even trips. The books we have right now are in rough condition, and it would be amazing if we could get new books and lab equipment. Other high schools are able to take their students on amazing trips, but my high school can't really do that. It would make a world of difference if we had the funds for these things, but the teachers and the rest of the staff make the absolute best, and they make sure you are reading for college and the workforce. I couldn't thank them more for what they do, they are truly amazing.

Show Low High School
#3 Best Public High School Teachers in Navajo County
- Show Low Unified School District, AZ
- Rating 3.66 out of 5 178 reviews
Senior: Somethings I really loved about Show Low High School was how helpful they were during the whole Covid situation and how they were even doing free breakfast and lunch because some kids couldn’t afford it. There was also the factor of strict discipline. Somethings that were also good is how well the counselors made our schedules and took the time to meet with kids to make sure they are doing good and are all set to graduate. Show Low High School is like a big family that I will forever be proud to be a part of. I have no complaints other than maybe not letting as many things slide in the disciplinary actions, but other than that I loved high school there it was so much fun and I learned so much!

Blue Ridge High School
#4 Best Public High School Teachers in Navajo County
- Blue Ridge Unified School District No. 32, AZ
- Rating 3.61 out of 5 168 reviews
Senior: Blue Ridge High School offers some good benefits to their students even when the school board doesn't have the funds to accomplish some things. Most of our funds can only go to certain academic classes and extracurricular activities and sports. This can become a struggle sometimes when other aspects of the school need the money more. Frequently we have problems with pipes and have to close down some parts of the school, like bathrooms, or we have to shut down the electricity in some hallways that don't have windows, so it gets dark sometimes. Other than the ceilings falling down and cracking apart, the school can only do so much. They still try their best to make the students have a fun experience throughout their high school career. They do assemblies and fun activities during the games to try to boost the spirits of students who may be going through a rough time. The teachers are always there to help you and support you through your struggles as well.

Senior: There's no other school I'd go to than Monument Valley High School. I love their mascot, the Mustangs. I like the diversity and atmosphere of my school. For all I know, I represented the school very proudly. Anyone would want to participate in sports, considering the school is known for many championship appearances in Volleyball and Basketball. The academics there are proficient with people who will help you out. I love it!

Snowflake High School
- Snowflake Unified School District, AZ
- Rating 3.57 out of 5 138 reviews
Senior: Here's the thing about Snowflake; it's a great small, close-nit town. Parents volunteer, lots of students are involved in sports and other extra curricular activities. There's really a lot of good things about Snowflake High School. But here's the other thing about Snowflake; it's very white and very Mormon. I am neither of those things. I'm half Navajo, nowhere near religious and don't belong in this bubble. They're not just a religion, they're a community within a community. The parents are all friends and the students all know each other outside of school from the day they're born. Even living in this community my whole life, I'm still a bit of an outsider. I've gotten a good education and I've made a few good friends. But in Snowflake High, it's more about who you know than what you know. I'm ready to spread my wings and be among some people more like me. Snowflake is a good place to get a foundation, it's time to build upon that in the real world.

Winslow High School
- Winslow Unified School District, AZ
- Rating 3.84 out of 5 153 reviews
Alum: Winslow High School is a great school where I spent the best four years of my life. The staff and teachers are really nice and helpful. There isn`t really huge student body count so this allows you to have one on one experiences with your teachers and counselors. The school also loves to honor the student spirit and the sports teams. There are many clubs that are student lead such as art, anime, and game club. Safety is a big priority for the school, as the Winslow Police Department works closely with the school district. All in all, Winslow High School is a great school, with great teachers and students.

Alum: Throughout my academic journey at Alchesay High School, I enjoyed the safe and comfortable environment of the students, teachers, and staff. I connected with teachers and staff for their guidance and support. I hope the facility continue to support students like me who come from a rural community let alone Native American students who hope to fulfill and set high standards to accomplish goals and dreams.

Pinon High School
- Pinon Unified School District, AZ
- Rating 3.56 out of 5 18 reviews
Alum: What I liked about Pinon High School is that they deal with you like an adult, they tell you about how your experiences in life are similar to your experiences in High School. They let you make up your own mind, but still have the chance to change it too. The people at Pinon High School care, about you, your achievements, and your future. They push you, even if you don't want them to because they do believe that you can be more than you are, and they don't hesitate to make you realize it.

Northern AZ Academy for Career Development - Taylor
- Public School
- Taylor, AZ
- Rating 5 out of 5 1 review
Alum: Before NAA, I had quit orchestra and art at my previous school. At Northern Arizona Academy, my love for music and art came back. I had also been able to keep my grades at almost all As. At NAA, there are smaller ratios of students to teachers, and in this environment, I was able to learn quicker, and more efficiently. They helped me enroll into the local community college in my junior year. By the time that I garduated, I was able to complete a nursing assistant training course, AND 20.5 college credits. Northern Arizona Academy's staff is absolutely wonderful, in particular Amy and Sandi. And the greatest blessing at this school, who helped me understand SO much in many subjects and life in general, is the recently passed, Ginifer. With out Gin, I would never be where I'm at today.
In total, this charter school goes over and beyond their expectations.
