Alum: Man, some of the people work at this school are just dumb.
That being said, going to this school changed my life.
Entering as a freshman just a week after moving to the area, this institution was instrumental in aiding me in forming connections in town, forming high school friendships, and most importantly - advancing my academic career. While the school’s options are not extensive, the 10+ AP courses offered were each taught by passionate teachers who directed me at every step of the way, aside from one teacher who I felt was a bit lazy. Over four years here, I felt that I truly became a Grizzly - and the resources given to me here got me into the University of my choice where I aim to continue my education.
No high school is perfect, and every school has it’s own unique issues. But Lassen stands as a testament to the fact that - if you want to succeed, you can find everything you need to do so here.
