Senior: I've learned a lot here and I've made a good majority of my closest friends here. It's in this school that I really accelerated in terms of my writing. It was in this school that I created my first written TV show, and I can assure you that I wouldn't have been nearly as good if it wasn't for the help I got from all my teachers and peers. So to make a long story short, I am very grateful that I was able to go to school that challenged me without being impossible.

Alum: It's a small town school with not a lot of funding to work with. It's very nice for being in a small community, but it has areas for improvement.

Senior: Overall, FA is a pretty good school. We have the problems that most schools in upstate New York do, like some crappy teachers, a mostly decrepit building, and the overwhelming smell of cow manure in the Spring, but our school has good qualities too. We have some major problems with our building including three extremely old girls bathrooms, a leaking roof, and a carpeted band room floor that has been soaking up spit and valve/slide oil for 20 years, not to mention the completely unpredictable heating and air conditioning. Regardless of this, our school has many clubs and sports that students can participate in, and many honors, AP, college, and extracurricular classes so students have the opportunity to take what they want, (when the horrible scheduling permits it).

Salmon River Junior/Senior High School

- Rating 3.22 out of 5 50 reviews
High School Senior: It is definitely not as bad as the reputation can make it seem. It has it's ups and downs, as I am sure every school does. Most of the downs are the result of students, but some rules that have been enforced in the past were ridiculous. Thankfully, Salmon River has finally caught up with the times, and has started integrating technology into the education.
