Valley High School

Alum: I really enjoyed going to high school at Valley High and enjoyed that it was a small school. I made great friendships with people at high school and enjoyed that the clubs/organizations I was in. I would recommend that they encourage students, especially the senior students, to apply for college as soon as possible because most applications for college are due in December and early January.

Round Valley High School
#2 Best Public High School Teachers in Apache County
- Round Valley Unified School District, AZ
- 39 reviews
Senior: Round Valley High School is found in a small town in Northeast Arizona. Our community is very supportive of the activities and programs that go on throughout the year. In three years, our school has gone from a "C" school to an "A" school. Education is becoming more, but there is still room for great improvement. Unfortunately in a small town, not a lot of money is there to support programs or education. I feel like I have been offered the best that Round Valley can give me, but I am ready to see what the world has to offer.

St. Johns High School
#4 Best Public High School Teachers in Apache County
- St. Johns Unified School District, AZ
- 27 reviews
Alum: St. Johns is a small town in Northern Arizona. During the Fall my town was a reminiscent of what our country was like in earlier times. Friday night is football night. All the stores and businesses would close and there would be signs on front doors saying that they went off to the game. We had a great football program. We took state two years in a row when I was in high school. The teachers were great! The classes were smaller so there was more of a personal relationship between students and teachers. The theatre arts program was pretty ambitious, we did plays like Les Miserable, Oklahoma, Grease, Bye Bye Birdie, and many others. I loved my high school experience and have made lasting friendships that have lasted over ten years.

Ganado High School
- Ganado Unified School District, AZ
- 80 reviews
Alum: Ganado has wide variety of classes which are all entitled to the students' learning. Their CTE programs allows participants to compete in national competitions. The athletic program rewards the athletes based off multiple criterias, so that each athlete os acknowledged.
The only change I would like to see is the eradication of their attendance policy. The fact that students are entitled to nine excused absences-- throughout the entire academic school year-- is just not right.

Window Rock High School
- Window Rock Unified School District, AZ
- 66 reviews
Senior: All schools are the same but the people from each are different. Some are nice others can be mean I feel like Window Rock High School has those types of people. The staff and students are nice from there but when you look at the students are high school they don't go quite far in life. The school in the past year have been making sure every student is on top of their game and helping them a part of the way towards college. They have so many opportunities from college fests to afterschool sports and clubs. I learn a lot when they bring colleges to the campus or guess speakers who tell us information from their experience. Window Rock High School is one of the best schools there are because with each student they care about their safety and their education. It's why I give it the rate of excellence because that's what they want for us as students.

Chinle High School
- Chinle Unified School District, AZ
- 210 reviews
Alum: I really liked going to school at Chinle because they are very helpful, and the academics is taken very seriously as well. Safety is also very important there, and the way the teachers, parents and students are all involved is really great. I really liked how we all were so close like a family, I felt safe, supported, and I felt like i was moving forward with the teachers, and fellow students. I wasn't left behind, and I think that is really important. The sports is also very good, they have a great athletic program, along with an athletic director that is very involved with his students, and his community. The community is involved, and so are parents, teachers, faculty members, and students.
