Parent: Two of my children currently attend Jefferson Academy and they are both thriving. I love the leveled reading and math! I also really appreciate the emphasis on character building and reinforcing good behavior. I feel the methods used are helping my kids become not only better students, but better individuals. I am impressed with the overall well-rounded education my kids are receiving and I love the emphasis on U.S. history. Parent: Our 5 children have all attended Lincoln Academy over the past 10 years. We made the move to Lincoln Academy when our oldest child was in 6 grade based on Lincoln's superior Math and Language Arts curriculum, small class sizes, teacher child ratio as each elementary class and all junior high core classes have Teaching Assistants, ability grouping in math and the focus on history and science even in elementary school. The additional benefits we've learned as we've been a part of the Lincoln community for the past 10 years are: the incredible lunch program, that our children are known by name by every teacher, the opportunities our children have had to participate in leadership roles, sports and art programs they otherwise would not have had in larger schools. We also love that parent volunteers are welcomed and wanted in the classrooms and school. Parent: Students genuinely seem happy to learn at GWA. I heard a boy say his family moved to GWA because he was always being bullied at another school and he grinned and said the teachers wont let anyone bully anyone here. I really like the Leader in Me program at GWA too. The children seem more responsible and confident. The teachers work way beyond the call of duty and genuinely care for the students. Even during the closure, teachers were already online teaching long before the rest of the schools and they were so helpful by email and phone. They really care! We love GWA.... Read 18 reviews

Middle School Student: I am a 7th grader at North Star Academy. My School has athletics, academics, and fun. I am in a great environment with some wonderful teachers. I feel I am learning a lot, in History, Math, L.A., Art, Science, etc.. Here we follow SEM, we have testing out, and we know basic things like sentence structure that public schools teach in high school. Our school has three halls. Parent: Mountainville Academy is such a great school! The small class sizes provide opportunities for my children to have more one on one learning with their teachers. The teachers know each student individually and really care about the success of each child. The school also has a lot of options to involve students in things beyond the classroom including, but not limited to, cross country, girls volleyball, boys and girls basketball, student council, student senate etc. I have had all of my children attend Mountainville Academy and would highly recommend it if you are wanting something a little more for your student's education beyond the public school option....
