Pioneer Valley Chinese Immersion Charter School
2 Best Public Elementary School Teachers in Massachusetts
- Public School
- Hadley, MA
Alum: First off, as a recent graduate student from PVCICS, I can only give my review on the high school.
The school has fantastic teachers who are extremely willing to help the students to learn. They also put in a ton of effort into making sure the students are doing well in the IB program. The IB coordinator is extremely organized with years of experience in IB prior to teaching in this school, which helped my class to navigate through the IB program with minimal confusion. The only thing the school doesn't have is the space and a cafeteria. Other than that, the school is fantastic and I highly recommend it if you want your kids to learn chinese as well!

The Sage School
- Private School
- Foxborough, MA
- PK, K-8
Parent: Sage offers advanced ciricumlum for gifted students who are in need of this. They allow the students more flexibility to be creative and keeps their joy for learning alive. It is too small to offer athletics so the students pursue these interests in their own community. This allowed our children to stay connected to our community and to choose from a wider list of pursuits than a school would typically offer. They have an amazing theatre/dance director and a fantastic Model UN program. Sage students bring home lots of awards from Model UN as well as doing fantastic on math competitions. The science program is well loved by my children. The teachers are super approachable and completely open to working with you to best help your child succeed. We have loved this school. The parents are a little more introverted and way more real than at other private schools. The parent organization is less popular but every parent I’ve meet is kind, real and interesting to talk to.

Miss Hall's School
- Private School
- Pittsfield, MA
Senior: This school changed my life for the better. Tenured faculty and staff are dedicated to preparing students for life after high school, through giving us the skills to use our voice, advocate for ourselves, and become creative problem solvers. Small class sizes give way to an extremely individualized learning setting, in which you know every teacher as both an advisor and a mentor. The students are empathetic, passionate people who are willing to collaborate, build friendships, and give a helping hand to anyone they meet. Alumni leave the school feeling prepared for college and the workforce, and everyone graduates with three internships already on their resume. Overall, I have never regretted my decision to attend Miss Hall's, and know that it has helped me plant my roots and grow into a confident and diplomatic young woman.
