Isham Memorial Elementary School
Sophomore: I went to the old school before they tore it down and rebuilt it. I loved all my teachers, which made my first five years of school wonderful. I can't remember much of the academics, but I do remember in fourth grade we got to watch little chicks hatch for a month (I think). There was also this time, in third grade, where we had to research an inventor, make a portfolio about them, and then pretend to be that person in our school's "wax museum". Sports were more outside of school, then inside... my guess, as stereotypical, is because it's not a private school. All in all, in my hazy memory of a 5-9 year-old, it was a great school....
