Parent: We just LOVE this school! Growing up going to a very high end private school I never thought we could get more out of charter school but ICSA is the best of the best! The staff and teachers here truly care about the students and the education they provide is second to none! Our daughter was ahead of the curve at her last school in California so we were looking for a language school to enhance her educational portfolio and keep her engaged in school, well ICSA did just that! Being new to the area the families at ICSA have been a very welcoming addition to our new surroundings. I can not speak highly enough of the school- their well rounded approach to education and raising whole children, the staff - great communication, engaging teaching styles, and the families that make this place a stellar community to be part of!... Parent: 4 kids went through morningside. 2 special needs. Covid is hard, but the teachers and administration do well with safety and inclusion. Fifth grade is a great transition space to know if your special needs child is going to make it in middle school with minimal parent involvement. Executive functioning is tested in a safe and repairable academic environment. Parent advocacy for children is encouraged and welcomed. Community involvement is incredible, and that is really what makes this school work. The parents amplified the academic environment, so these parents are well educated and involved. Diversity could be improved, but Intown living provides opportunities in such that the suburban public schools lack more. Howard and Grady and more diversified if you stay in district through 12. Walking/biking to school is a big thing. We took advantage of this several mornings, then would do the bus in the afternoon as it was a bit far for the young ones unaccompanied for our house.... Parent: Amana is an excellent place for students to learn. My children learned so much and often talk about how they would've never had the opportunity to learn about so many issues in the world, STEM that they can apply to their learning, foreign language, and being around a diverse group of students and teachers had they not attended Amana. Parent: 4 stars for academics and my child enjoys attending this school everyday. My child loves the principal, staff and teachers and never complains of any issues. However, I as a parent believe that the school culture deserves 1 star because the experience thus far has been absolutely horrible. I would love to see changes but since the PTO operates like a clique and the school re-elected the same school governance council representative, I do not see any changes for the foreseeable future.... Parent: We specifically made a 20 mile move specifically so our kids could attend Crabapple Crossing. CCES is a fantastic! My kids have been students here for the last three years and each year I am that much more thankful that we made that move! The teachers are so phenomenal and you can see the drive they have -for nothing less than - exceptional education. Each teacher has their own unique way of getting the best out of their students. And the staff is equally as awesome! You really feel part of a community the minute you step through those doors. We feel very lucky that we are not just at any school, but we are at a school that goes above and beyond to give you an immense sense of family, makes you feel connected to your community, and steps outside of the box on the daily to make learning an experience that our kids can connect with, and carry with them through the remainder of their educational years !... Parent: We absolutely love this school. Having come from California, we are so completely happy with the choice to come to Georgia. The teaching staff is immensely helpful and attentive to each of our child's needs. They show a real sense of caring. Our previous experience in California showed us that the majority of parents in that school didn't care to make the school any better. Literally no one showed up to PTA meetings. It was sad. At SAE, almost all parents are participating in group discussions, fundraisers and anything outside of the norm. Trust us when we say, this place is a real gem. Junior: I love Atlanta Classical Academy! The teachers are amazing and the school really prepares you for college. However, If you decide to send your child to this school, make sure they TRULY understand how to study. The downfall of many new students at ACA is that when they enter the school (freshman year for ex.) they tend to expect that the grading system and the rigour of work will be the same as their previous school. I would say in order to do well at ACA you must study hard because the curriculum can be intense at times. One critique I would give the school is that the staff is not diverse. As a POC at ACA, having teachers who look like you and can relate to racial problems that may occur at school is very important. However, I believe ACA is currently hiring a more diverse staff for the upcoming school years.... Read 15 reviews

Parent: We switched from our zoned school to FAST when it originally opened 6 years ago. The main reason we were interested is because they look at the whole student. You can be on level or behind in one subject and not be penalized and kept out of higher level work in another one. They started doing social-emotional learning long before it was the “it” thing to do. And design thinking prepares you for the real world. The real world isn’t a bunch of standardize tests. It’s critical thinking and finding solutions. I’m so glad for this school, it makes my heart happy. And my children have done very well there.... Read 10 reviews

Parent: Our kids love the school, its teachers and some of the staff they have interacted with. Despite its large number of students you can count on everyone here to know your name. Roswell North Elementary has a great community of involved parents and wonderful teachers and staff and provides its students access to the park nearby and its creek for regular natural studies field trips during social studies classes. Project based learning school, offers many field trips and extracurricular in school activities along with wonderful after school classes (academic and sports). We are pleased with choosing RNE!... Parent: I just LOVE this school! Coming from Dekalb county, the huge Dunwoody Elementary school, I was very fearful for how my daughter would fit in Northwood. To my big surprise, even tough they rate lower than many other Alpharetta schools, they are plain wonderful. The teacher care so much and give any efforts needed for the students to succeed, and the administrative faculty is just as attentive and accepting. I suspected my daughter has some kind of learning disability, and started an evaluation process with the school. There are not enough compliments to how well the process was managed, how much I was kept involved and consulted with, and how much my family, and my daughter, felt we have a listening ear! I wouldn't go through this process in any other school. If I could, I would give this school the highest rating available. They are just terrific.... Read 3 reviews
