    Sophomore: Ever since I moved to the Oklahoma, I attended Jenks up until now. Jenks feels like a home for me. I really love Jenks especially because of the teachers. They were literally the BEST. Jenks has many club and activities offered for their students. There are so so many choices to choose from. They also have many high class offered for their students. Jenks has many AP classes that prepares you for college and the food is getting better too. However, I do think there needs to be a change in the segregation between the students. The student body is made up of mainly white. Nowadays, many minorities have moved to the school. I feel like they are a part of the student body but not a part of the student body at the same time. And if you look closely at the classrooms, whites are with whites and minorities are with minorities. I think whoever puts the students in a class should probably think about equally setting the class out.

    Alum: I love Union! No matter who you are, where you come from, or where you plan on going; Union welcomes yoU! The school is huge and very nice. They make sure their is something there for you to get involved in, and nearly all students are in extra curricular activities. Union goes all the way with everything they do. Whether it’s Orchestra, Wrestling, Robotics, or the Rubics Cube Club. They make sure everyone knows they came and gave it all they got. Union always wants to make our community proud because we don’t have a specific city/town for our school. Therefore we might not get as many sponsors or opportunities, but that means that our supports give us 100%. Alumni, students, and future students are always beaming with pride and love for Union. Our superintendent is fantastic. All the staff is amazing and most went to Union. I love Union and all the loving memories it gave me.

    Senior: Edmond North is one of, if not the best, public schools that Edmond has to offer. Almost all the teachers are extremely helpful and try their best to help students succeed. Sometimes I wish they put more effort into encouraging students to be their best academically. Lunch food is affordable but not the healthiest. Athletics is where the school really shines. Anyone can notice that the school spends a lot of their resources into sports and extracurricular activities activities more than in any other field. At the end of the day, Edmond North suffers a lot from recent budget cuts and financial issues, a lack of diversity and overachieving student body, and not the most aware staff when it comes to problems within students. However, the school is still one of the best when it comes to preparing students who really want to be prepared for college, has some amazing sports programs, and tries to offer the most opportunities it can to its students. Go huskies!

    Alum: Great school system. Dr. Ogilvie is an amazing superintendent. The Elementary schools are great definitely recommend North East as your elementary teachers are great and the school is fairly new. 6th-12th-grade school is great. Teachers actually want you to succeed, sure not all the teachers are amazing but 99% of them actually care about the students and their wellbeing. Owasso High School will definitely prepare you for College. Sports are A+, Teachers are A+ and Academics is A +. Definitely, a school for your kids to grow in.

    Senior: Fort Gibson Public Schools is a great school. They have a great basketball and great coaches. The teachers here are best teachers in the district, they care about the students and what them to succeed. Fort Gibson has so many choices; for example, drama classes, art, band, and many sports activity's. There is not one thing that I find wrong with the school. They staff does an excellent job of keeping it clean and everyone is welcomed!

    Senior: I had the opportunity to earn recognition for art during my elementary school years, and was involved in soccer and marching band while in high school. The teachers truly care about our success. My district partners with my local technology center so that while in high school, I was able to attend a drafting program for my junior & senior years to gain a technical skill set that will jumpstart my career, making me employable for much more than minimum wage while I work on my college degree. MPS was a great place to attend school! Go, Jaguars!

    Alum: I started going to Millwood in 2015. I was in the fifth grade and since then i’ve loved this school. The teachers here are really helpful and caring. They will help you do whatever you need to do to graduate as long as you put forth the effort. They love to see everyone achieve their goals, especially with being a majority african american school. Here at Millwood, sports is a big deal. When you’re involved it keeps you motivated to pass your classes because you know you can’t miss practice or games. Some of Millwood teachers are coaches so they know what you need to be doing to pass so you can play. Sports was not the only way to be involved though, we also had clubs. Some including year book and gear up program with The University of Central Oklahoma.

    Senior: I love my school! It may be big, but that just means we are one big family. Our student activities are amazing and, as a student leader within the activities department, I know first hand that each event is carefully planned and performed so that all students at BA can enjoy their highschool careers. The teachers are kind, caring, and always ready to help out. I feel that because of my experiences at Broken Arrow highschool I am fully equipped, both academically and personally, for college life and work load. I have been in BA public schools my entire school life and I honestly don't know what I would do without everything I've learned throughout the years.

    Sophomore: One great thing about Verdigris Public School is that we adapt to help the students. When a transfer student, or a forgein exchange student moves in, Verdirgis offers the best classes, teachers, and materials that they have to offer. Although we have such little resources, we distribute them out so sufficiently, that it makes it seem as if we have more than we actually do.
    One day I would like to see change is the number of students that come to Verdigris each year. We receive about 5 to 6 kids on average each year, and increasing that number would only help us in many different ways. It would increase our diversity level, it would help our kids learn about other areas from those kids, and the move ins could teach the other students other ways of life.

    Junior: The atmosphere at my school is small and homey. The teachers are all for the students and will help with anything and everything. Only thing that made me knock it to four stars is the college prep. We don’t do many college prep work or hear about it, and if we do, it’s not taken seriously. Our counselors know little about college readiness too, and it’s really up to the students themselves to get ready for college.

    Senior: My overall experience at Woodward High School was very good. It was very good because I have many great friends and very supportive teachers to help me make it through my four years of high school. I also had great coaches that pushed me to be the very best that I could be, which helped me become who I am now and who I will become. The faculty at Woodward High School is one of the best. Everyone, including the janitors and servers, cares about every student and wants the best for them. I could not have asked for a better high school to attend.

    Parent: My kids have attended Washington all of their life and they have enjoyed it. In a small school they know pretty much everyone and seem to get along with all. Sports is a big part of the school system and the team atmosphere is great.

    Middle School Student: I live Oologah and everything about it! The teachers there are great, and teach you A LOT! And I must say, the sports and athletics there are EXCEPTIONALLY WELL! Very good in every sport! I feel very comfortable and welcome going to school there. I feel very comfortable and welcome going to school here. I feel like I will be more than prepared for college when I graduate. The school spirit here is great, too! Always do dress up days for athletics events, etc.! If I was trying to find a school to go to in Northeast Oklahoma, Oologah would definelty be at the top of the list!

    Sophomore: Tulsa Public School prepared me to further my studies in medicine. The classes that I took were recommended by my counselor. I worked diligently to complete my class work and to pursue additional educational activities to further enhance my learning. I was recommended to use the Khan academy site also. This site enable me to understand some of the concepts of mathematics. With this understanding, I was able to assist my fellow students in their learning as well.
    TPS also offered extracurricular activities such as tennis I was able to play at the Varsity level and entered several competitions with excellent scores. This social event enabled me to make friends out of the school atmosphere. I still keep in contact with some of the players.

    Alum: I attended Eisenhower Senior High School and the staff is very welcoming, friendly, and wants to see every student succeed. They each make a point to have contact with a student and all are welcoming if there is a problem that needs talked about privately. Unfortunately, the books used in the classroom are not up to par. There are pages, book covers, entire chapters falling out of them.

    Senior: The involvement is what makes this school shine, everyone for the most part participates in school events and it feels like a family. Everyone is there to lend a hand when need. The teachers will use whatever resource they have to help the student out and it has been really helpful being at the school for scholarships and knowing what is expected for college. High school can be one of the most influential part of our growth, and learning with my peers has helped me develop to be a more involved person and step out of my comfort zone. One of things that I wished changed is the administration. Teachers should be provided the resources and economic development for their life. Oklahoma is rank lowest for education and for funding. So a change in how the administration is organized and the governments involvment with taxing the oil may be the solution for providing a substantial amount of money for the schools.

    Senior: My experience thru high school at Anadarko was great the Academic staff was excellent, the food was good there, thru the years there was excellent just have staff that really help you when your grades aren't great they find ways to help the students get caught up. The counselors help out a lot getting us ready to graduate. Taking the extra steps to get us there. Teacher there give us the opportunities to make the grade it's up to you to make them. I don't see anything else that they could do to make thing better because it's all ready great. Students there are great we just need to keep striving to go forward to be successful in what ever we do, the opportunities are there we just need to make it great for us to succeed.

    Alum: Overall a good experience. Tons of clubs and sports to do. Some teachers care about teaching their students and other do not. I would like to see mid-del bring in some better teachers who actually qualify to teach. Better food options for students would be nice. Having the right resources would be great. Not every student was able to have a textbook. It made it hard for when you had to take a book home. They didn't prepare you for college very well. They wouldn't tell you all the information you needed to know. They made sure that all students were safe no matter what situation would occur.

    Senior: I moved into the Jones school district and immediately felt at home in the school and community. The teachers and coaches care about the students above anything else. The school and the people there are like my second family. There is so much support at every sporting event. Jones has faced some rough times and no matter what the town has always come together. Jones will always be my home and the school is the heart of that. There is not much I can think of to change about Jones. No matter what I know I can come back and always have a place to feel at home.

    Senior: Overall a great school! The academics are very well and its small enough that you get the "one-on-one" time you need with your teachers. A longer lunch would be more appreciated, especially with all of the construction going on in town. Sports/sports facilities are very well kept up with. Pretty diverse for the size of the community.

    Alum: The school was a lot of fun and had great education. The sports where always a plus with winning teams in pretty much every single sport. Best high school i attended, and they allowed us to have a bowling team and we went to different centers and faced different highs schools in Oklahoma. Bethany is also a blue ribbon school in are elementary, middle school, and our high school.

    Parent: I have been involved with Northshore as a parent for 4 years now. Our family has been blessed in so many ways by the teachers, administrators and families that are part of this wonderful organization. We expected that our children would receive a great education, dedicated teachers in a supportive environment: we didn't expect that Northshore would become like extended family. Northshore grows families in more ways than just educationally. We are a tribe and I couldn't imagine sending my kids anywhere else.

    Parent: My children both graduated from AWS, and I am compelled to write this review because they are so wonderfully prepared for college. Thank you Annie Wright! The care and professionalism demonstrated by the teachers is amazing. My kids are not only academically prepared, they know how to advocate for themselves, and build relationships with their professors at college. They have started the boys school now I hear, and although I had some reservations initially, I do agree that this extraordinary IB education should be available to all kids in the South Sound. This school is making a difference in the lives of kids, families and helping the development of the region.
