Senior: The teachers are all very good and offer assistance to whoever whenever. The school provides a good education & in certain extra curriculars you can find more opportunities to better yourself. There are no sports or many clubs. But there are fun things the school offers. Such as a Bound week where the 7-10s do Artward Bound where they do many different types of art including but not limited to music, painting, poetry, knitting, film, dance, photography, and sketching. The juniors go on Outward Bound where for five days they go hiking and learn leadership & teamwork skills. Redwood Academy's seniors go through Career Bound where they learn about careers many dont often think about & life skills. Although they dont have the best resources they do try their best help all students to succeed.

Senior: It’s a very tight community and the amount of support that is offered to help you succeed is astonishing. We have off campus lunch so the cafeteria food isn’t great but it’s there for those who need it. For such a small school the resources and facilities that are offered are very good. During my time there, the most competitive sports were volleyball, basketball, and soccer. But swim, tennis, track, cross country, lacrosse, and golf were also popular. There’s a lot of enthusiasm And supper surrounding Our art and music programs kids are allowed to paint murals and design shirt to sell and put on theatre productions all on their own. I have seen some seriously amazing and beautiful art come out of this school. Overall I love this school and it’s a great place to pursue your education and the relationships and memories you’ll create will last a lifetime.

Niche User: This school made me have more leisure time for myself instead of constantly worrying or stressing out about presentations, homework, finals, etc. I could choose which days out of the week I wanted to/ had time to work on the assignments for my classes. I also could form a normal sleeping schedule instead of staying up until 3am writing an essay due for class at 7:30 am. Now this could also be apart of poor time management and procrastination, however on independent study, you meet with your teacher for an hour at a time thats significant for you both; not 7:30 am. I could sleep in and enjoy myself. I could get up and actually eat a decent meal for breakfast. I could also travel, work jobs, start college classes for financial benefit ( due to still being a high school undergraduate), focus on getting a driver's license, and much more that I couldn't have accomplished if I had stuck with a regular public high school!

Parent: This school has been a great help to our kids. The bi-lingual aspect has been fantastic as well as the teachers really seem to genuinely care about the kids. I think the amount of adaptations that they have done in order to keep their doors open has been nothing short of miraculous. I also think that the staff goes above and beyond to make sure the kids are learning and that they stay on top of their assignemnts. There are a few issues though that could be helpful to parents in the future if they are considering placing their kids in the school- pick up at the end of the day needs major work. The overlap between the parents is atrocious and that causes a major amount of stress at the end of the day for just about everyone involved. The other issue is that no matter the time day or night you get texts from the school reminding you about anything and everything. It can be a bit overwhelming to have constant reminders popping up, at least stay in the business hours please!
