Junior: I enjoy Wink High School it is a very good school. The culture in Wink is wonderful to see. But, sometimes the students will get this mind set that we are the best. Which is good in some ways, but not in others. I've had a wonderful experience here I've been coming to school here since third grade and it has been fun. As time comes along you see that Wink isn't all what people say it is. There are some interesting things and you should check it out.

Monahans High School

Senior: At Monahans High School I have learned a lot about the different responsibilities every person needs to have and if everyone does their part great things will happen. My high school is a very well rounded school, meaning they offered as many opportunities as they could through academics and other UIL organizations. The staff at Monahans truly wants the best for the kids and made it as enjoyable as possible, but the atmosphere was almost missing something. I believe what was missing was the involvement of the students. I was a very spirited student in High School and I know that is why I had a great experience. Something I think Monahans needs to project to the kids that high school should be about taking every opportunity given and making the most out of it. Which is something I was taught at Monahans and want the future Loboes to realize.

Crane High School

Senior: Attending Crane High School was full of ups and downs though it mostly consisted of ups. I had the pleasure of getting to be able to do all of the electives I wanted because it was a small high school, these electives included athletics, band, student counsel, and sports med. I would not have gotten to experience all of this if I would have gone to a bigger high school. Crane High School taught me tradition as well as responsibility. There are so many traditions that go into attending Crane, the band program being one of them. Sweepstakes are what they call them we have a tradition of only getting straight ones in competition for 36 years. It is one of the longest ones in the state of Texas that is still going on today. I also got the privilege of attending the State Marching Band competition twice. On the athletics side, I had the ability of playing five sports that I enjoy playing very much. One thing that I love about playing in Crane is the bond that develops in the teams.
