Alum: Pana Senior High has an incredible staff of teachers who are constantly going out of their way to help students succeed. Nearly every teacher in this building would stay for hours after school to help students with projects, papers, and assignments to help ensure success and prepare the students for college. The dual credit course options are amazing because I was able to enter my first year of college as a sophomore due to my credit hours.

Senior: They are doing a very good job bringing in young, driven teachers. They still need to find 1 or 2 more and then it will be a top notch school.

Ramsey High School

Senior: At Ramsey High, there are a variety of sports you can participate in. The teams aren't very good, but they receive attention and funding easily. We have one teacher for band and choir. We win more awards but half the financial help. There are some teachers that make us feel like the greatest people in the world. There are also two teachers that make us feel worthless. The food is not the greatest, but you can't really blame them. To try and keep students safe, they have put in over a dozen security cameras. There is a fence surrounding the playground. The class of 2019 had extremely low scores on their SAT/ACT. To counteract this, they spent almost all semester teaching us everything they could so we would have higher scores. There was a lot of pressure on us to do well, but I'm not so sure that it was to better ourselves. I think they might have been worried that this would look badly and they might lose funding.

Senior: My experience with Cowden Herrick High School is one of indifference but also enjoyable. Both of my parents and most of my aunts and uncles have all gone here. So have most of my cousins. I feel like this is my home in a way because most of my family is here. The education on the other hand is sub-pare. We don't have much money so some things are broke and out dated but we are getting better. In time a feel that this school will improve tremendously. However; our clubs are great; particularly FFA. We are a rural community so the student see agriculture every single day. Most students have a farmer in the family or knows of one. I have been a FFA chapter officer for 3 years. i feel that FFA has helped my a lot in building leadership skills, personal growth, and in finding a career that best suits me. Being in FFA made my high school career great. My high schools FFA chapter is a great one. I'm so happy to be a part of it.
