Parent: We have one child attending traditional classes and one child in special education. They are both thriving. We are very impressed with the accommodations our son has received in the special education class. They have gone out of their way to post ASL cards around the room so other children can learn signs to communicate with our child. Both children love going to school each day.

Junior: I’ve had an overall good experience at Ashland High School. I’ve been able to take many classes that I’ve actually been interested in, and the guidance counselors are wonderful about helping you curate a schedule that works for you. There are many opportunities for student involvement (clubs, sports, leadership). The administration makes some decisions that the faculty/students don’t agree with, but such is probably the case everywhere. I’d say the teachers are the best part of the school. Many of them are very passionate about what they teach and care a lot about their students and helping them succeed.
