Richmond Community High School
#174 Best Public High Schools in Michigan
- Richmond Community Schools, MI
- Rating 3.63 out of 5 112 reviews
Alum: I really liked that the teachers are there for their students no matter what they need. They did not just teach students things that will help them in college, they taught me along with many others skills that be used all throughout life. I loved that clubs and activities were always open to everyone. Richmond High School has a variety of clubs/sports/activities to do it makes it easy to get involved. One thing I suggest Richmond High School to change is the way they teach students how to write. Going into college I did not have the greatest understanding on how to write an APA or MLA paper. Overall I strongly recommend attending Richmond Community High School.

Armada High School
#182 Best Public High Schools in Michigan
- Armada Area Schools, MI
- Rating 3.66 out of 5 185 reviews
Senior: Academically, Armada high school was a very great school to attend and graduate from. It has been ranked 1st place in Macomb county out of 28 schools for the past three years from the Michigan department of education. Most of the teachers were very helpful, understanding, and great at teaching their students. These are all great aspects of the school, however, a lot of the students can be very disrespectful towards adults and their own peers, and receive minimal disciplinary action.

Memphis Junior/Senior High School
- Memphis Community Schools, MI
- Rating 3.86 out of 5 21 reviews
Senior: Attending Memphis was fairly well for a smaller school. The teachers and administration treated me fairly well and knew my needs when they were supposed to be met.
The college advisor was the most helpful and made sure that throughout our junior and senior years, we were ready and applied for college, and helped us through the process if needed.
The only thing I would critique is the resources. I do believe that the funding goes where it's needed, but more resources are needed in the classroom, especially with the more hands on classes such as science.
