Alum: ZCHS is a wonderful school for students of all interests and passions. The staff is friendly, knowledgable, and pushes students to do their best. Additionally, there are clubs, activities, and courses to suit anyone wanting to become involved in their school or community. The biggest issue I have with Zionsville Community High School is the toxic culture of pressure on students to do exceptionally well academically and get into the best colleges, because not all students thrive in that type of environment. However, I know that the faculty has the students' best interests at heart and simply want them to succeed.

Middle School Student: The teachers were decent but some of the kinds could be mean. There is too much pressure for such young kids at this school. This prepares them to be academically successful in high school but may not be worth it.

Alum: My experience at Westfield High School not only successfully prepared me for college, but was also a high school experience that every teen should receive. Due to the anti-bullying effort, I did not witness any bullying at school or online. The culture at Westfield created so many life long memories. Each sports team called themselves a family, and there were an abundant amount of opportunities for the arts, theatre, music, and production. There was always an event to attend. The facilities at Westfield were clean and up to date.

Senior: It is your average school with your typical groups of jocks, nerds, popular kids, but it is different as well. We all come together in times of need. For example we had a student struck by a car. We all came together the school and the community to raise money to pay for the cost of the hospital bills and what ever else they needed. This is a very positive thing about our school. Most schools have their separate groups that think they are the rulers of their schools, well that isn't the case at Sheridan. We might be a small community but we all care about our students and their families.

Alum: I enjoyed the small community feel of my former school. I graduated with a class of about 80 students, and we were all really close. I went to school there K-12, and our teachers were amazing up until the last year of my high school career. Our principal ended up retiring and then a lot of new people came in. Older teachers then started leaving because they did not like working under those who took over in the office. A lot changed, and I felt like you could not trust anyone anymore. Everything was a big secret for some reason, and I hated that. We were all a big family, everyone knew everything about each other. With that being said, no one was judging anyone until the new staff came in. Now I would not take my kid's there. It isn't the same, and there is not much opportunity.
