Van Buren High School

Senior: The school works well with your schedule, and I’ve always been impressed by how much they encourage and help you with college classes and taking all the classes you want to. We have great classes, the grading is fair for the most part, and food is good. The only complaints I have are that some teachers are a bit overbearing and actually TRY to get kids in trouble, and that the building itself is always run down and falling a part at the seams. Overall, I wouldn’t want to go to any other school. We have the best of what we can afford. Although we’re small, we’re powerful, in academics, sports, art, and especially music.

Elmwood High School

Senior: When I transferred to Elmwood going into my sophomore year, everyone was very welcoming. I had somewhere to sit at lunch, people talked to me in class, and wanted to get to know me. Schools usually have the different groups, but Elmwood didn't. It's just a little country school where everyone knows everyone, and everybody gets along for the most part. And if somebody doesn't like another they don't really talk about them, they just mind their own business.

North Baltimore High School

Alum: Being at North Baltimore High School was one of the greatest experiences of my life. I met some of best friends while going to school, while also being inspired greatly by staff who work there. I know that graduating from North Baltimore High has extremely prepared me for college life. I knew what to expect going into college, which included: the workload, atmospheres, people, professors, time management, and so much more. I would highly recommend North Baltimore High School for anyone wanting to get more than just a high school education.
