Mount Vernon High School

Senior: I love my school! We are a big family. The teachers really do care about you and they put in tons of extra time either coaching or being a club advisor. There are plenty of AP, KAP, and college credit plus options. And there are many ACT/SAT workshops to prepare students for those tests This sudent body has tons of school spirit, especially with the Hive (often called one of the best student sections in Ohio). There are lots of clubs, for example: Key club, Vedette, In The Know, National Honor Society, FCCLA, and maybe 10 more. The administration isn't the best, but they find ways to get people to enjoy school. Overall, I love this school and I am going to miss it once I graduate.

Fredericktown High School

Senior: I have attended Fredericktown Schools all my life and I would definitely recommend going to this school. We are a small town and known for our farming. Our school is a small knit community, where even we have good relationships with our teachers and know them quite well. Our school motto is:
"Everyday, everyone learning and adapting to excel in a changing world." And I believe we do just that at Fredericktown High School. Though our school is not as big as others does not mean that we are any lesser. My graduating class of 2018 is just under one hundred. We do not have a wide variety of diversity in students nor teachers, as most of us are white Americans. Our academics at Fredericktown High School are limited in range but I believe their quality makes up for that. I love Fredericktown Local Schools, and I wouldn't have wanted to grow up in any other town or attended any other school.

Clear Fork High School

Senior: Clear Fork High School has provided me a great learning experience, educationally and otherwise. This school has exercised many of my strong values and beliefs, and has been an added moral compass for me. I have found wonderful people to call my friends, and encouraged to try my best. My school doesn’t tolerate bullying, and very accepting of differences. Some of the teachers are so supportive and build a great professional and friendly relationship with the students.
The only thing I wish I could change about my school is that we are a small community. And although that is a great thing, it leaves many of us narrow-minded to all of the other people and opportunities in this world. I wish we had more opportunities where we could go other places and learn cultural backgrounds.
