Senior: My experience at GCHS has been wonderful! The staff are generous and desire to watch their students thrive. If I were to change anything about the school, it would be the communication between administration and the students. It is very difficult to understand how to apply for scholarships or know what we need to accomplish throughout our time there. The requirements change almost annually considering graduation requirements, honors, and an abundance of other things. It is absolutely frustrating.

Alum: I liked the teachers they were wonderful but the principal needs to go. He's a terrible person. I was very involved in high school i played sports, was in band and several clubs. All of these activities were outstanding and the support of teachers made it even better. I never got in to any trouble while i was in school there. The food was terrible like any other school cafeteria but the lunch ladies were all awesome! Most of my favorite teachers are retired now but I'm sure the new teachers are just as wonderful as the old.

Senior: Marshall County High Schools school spirit is definitely one of a kind. At every sporting event there is a MASSIVE student section cheering on our school athletes and wishing them luck in doing the best they can. All four years of high school I was on the football and mountain bike team and it was an unbelievable experience that I wish I could relive just one more time. All of the friends and memories I have made, I will cherish forever. On January 23, 2018 our school experienced a tragedy which knocked us down pretty hard, but our students, staff, and community came together as a whole together stronger than before. We are Marshall Strong.

Alum: Having graduated from Christian Fellowship School, I had lots of experience with the school and everyone in it. The teachers are passionate about their students. They teach there because they want to. There are opportunities for students to enroll in AP classes and take AP tests for college credits. There aren't as many options for sports as there are in bigger, public schools. However, there are many more offerings than there used to be. As is the case with any institution involving human beings, there are some great people and some troublemakers/drama seekers. If you are agreeable and kind, you will have no problem making the people at the school into a sort of family. From my experience, the only people that down-talk the school and those within it are those who are themselves involved in causing trouble. Of course, no one is perfect and even the nicest person can be rude or hypocritical at times, but overall, the atmosphere at Christian Fellowship is one of warmth and welcoming.
