Junior: My St. Mark's experience so far has been great. The smaller sized classes allow for more individual attention and better communication between the students and teachers. There are also many opportunities available to students from community service to leadership positions. As a boarder, the dorm atmosphere is great and I've met many of my friends there!... Parent: All 3 of my sons attended Bancroft 9-12th grade. It's was a great fit for them. They all enjoyed the academic experience and all 3 played varsity sports in at least two sports. If you want your child to experience team sports, I highly recommend Bancroft. They play in a competitive league and your child will get to play! But the real reason to attend is the academic experience and the ability to get your kids into the right colleges, which they will. My first son needed a school that would give him the individualized education he needed since he had both dyslexia and ADHD. Turns out he had amazing analytics skills and completed all 4 computer science classes at Bancroft. He got his Engineering degree 2 years ago and is now a successful software engineer. My 2nd son just got his college degree in Business from a great school and my 3rd is now a sophomore in college doing well. If you can afford it, do it. No matter the religion, race, color or gender. They'll be accepted at Bancroft.... Read 64 reviews

Senior: As I Senior at the school, I can attest that Feehan is an amazing school and I highly recommend for those who want to pursue college. Before you even start freshman year, they have events to help you connect to other students. In addition, Feehan has enough clubs/sports to satisfy anyone’s interests. The school is great at emphasizing the importance of Catholic values and service to the community. Almost every club will be doing some type of service, and each student needs at least 60 hours of service to graduate. Feehan offers 4 levels of classes, besides AP, for each subject that all prepare students for college. The guidance I have received when applying to colleges has been spectacular. You are even required to take a semester SAT prep class during sophomore or junior year. The teachers are all wonderful at what they do and strive to help students achieve. When they say there is a Feehan family, they are not lying. One thing I will also mention is they have good arts programs!... Read 177 reviews

Sophomore: I love it here it is very nice and people are friendly. There are some things at the school that are very strange like no walking on the grass or you will get a detention but overall a great school. Before COVID I applied to be in the class of 24 and while sports are very competitive and downright obsessive, it is a great school to learn and quiet spaces like gac or the Gregory academy center is a great spot to learn during a free block. The food definitively sucks and the lunch allotted time period is awful. It is strict but teachers are great and the facilities are decently new with founders at the time of this being written being six years old and ryken being about 15 and the main building being around 60 years old but refurbished often and state of the art. The robotics team being one of the best in the world... Read 122 reviews

Parent: My three children have been attending SLA for five years now. The school feels like family! All the teachers know and engage with my children, even if they haven't had them in their class. Because it's a small school the students get lots of one-on-one instruction and all can participate in sports or music, not just the top 10%. My kids are participating in the honors program and are on track to attend competitive universities--I attribute much of that to the extra attention they get. Best of all, the school supports our family's values and are partners with me in raising my kids.... Read 46 reviews

Senior: Assabet Valley is a vocational school, So as a student I spend half of the school year focusing on a trade and the other half focusing on academics. Going to a tech school is overall an amazing experience because so many doors can open up during and after high school whether it be for sports, careers, colleges, even having just extra knowledge to be able to change a tire or color someone’s hair. Not only does the school offer a trade but we have some of the best sports teams, clubs, and classes to offer as well. Everyone that makes the choice to come to Assabet is guaranteed to find something right for them. The school is filled with the most kind hearted and understanding people. Each and every person working in the school is supportive and wants their students to succeed. Assabet is a 100% positive environment all the time. Everyone wants one another to succeed and everyone helps make the school a great place to be!... Read 153 reviews

Junior: I enjoy the atmosphere of Hudson High School as a whole but do not feel as if my ideas are represented enough. The faculty are amazing and so are the extra-curricular opportunities. However, when students feel there is an issue about something, we don't have a platform to speak about it. Administration makes decisions with their own personal interest rather than students' which is frustrating and difficult. I have attended school committee meetings, forums, and talked to administration directly but rarely get any attention.... Read 149 reviews

Parent: Our family wishes to pay the highest of compliments to Hillside School for the management of its Spring ’20 Trimester! When academic classes at Hillside resumed online on Monday, March 30, Hillside’s faculty performed with excellence, as if the school had been operating with remote learning for quite some time. Our family was incredibly impressed with the overall effectiveness of Hillside’s remote learning program. And the continuity of curriculum throughout the Spring ’20 trimester exceeded our expectations! Hillside School set a date & time to launch remote learning of Monday, March 30, 2020 at 8:15 am to noon. That morning, his screen lit up with images and familiar faces at precisely 8:15 am. Then, from Monday, March 30 through the last week of May, the consistency of his school day was just what we hoped for. Academic lessons began right at 8:15 am and continued up until noon. Additionally, he received three to four meaningful homework assignments each day.... Read 31 reviews

Parent: Great experience with Kindergarten this year. Student programming/curriculum and communication with parents has been excellent. Despite Covid-19 still being omnipresent in our lives, our student's year was not disrupted and was as normal as it could possibly be. We are thrilled we chose Fay and our son has been very happy with his whole experience. He has made so many new friends and has also enjoyed meeting older students as well. We are grateful that many parent and community events returned and were available as in-person events. We just finished our first year and are eagerly awaiting first grade!... Read 12 reviews

Parent: We have four children, one in nearly every program level, at Oak Meadow. We could not love this school, the staff, or the wonderfully diverse families more if we wanted to. Since I cannot keep my children with me forever and always, Oak Meadow is the next best place to home. The education is beyond top notch. I have watched children grow and move through the programs, and it is stunning to see what this style of education can do to create well rounded, incredibly informed, self assured, thoughtful, and caring individuals. I truly cannot say enough about the staff, the atmosphere, the love, and the education at Oak Meadow. I am thankful to have had nine years here already, but also to have eight more years at Oak Meadow before my last graduates. We LOVE this school!... Read 11 reviews

Parent: I have a very bright student that needed organizational skills. I could not have found a better school for my son. It took a few years and a few dedicated teachers, but my son now totally owns his own work. There are fewer and fewer lost papers and rarely a missed assignment. The middle school math and social studies teachers really truly try to push and get the best out of their students. These teachers are outstanding. There are a few teachers that just slide by and do the minimal amount of work. The only thing lacking is sports. The school has basketball and track and it puts everything it has into the basketball program. The PE teacher is great. Parents get too involved when their child doesn’t “make the right team”. Problem with the parents and not the school.... Read 4 reviews

The one thing that stood out to me the most was the relationships students form with teachers. Transferring schools is incredibly difficult but it could not have gone better for me and the teachers and staff are to thank for that. My teachers reached out to me before the school year started to introduce myself and now have continued to check up on me and how I am. The teachers are also very passionate about the subjects they are teaching allowing students to really feel invested and a part of the class. Outside of the classroom, the student body is awesome. Our child is in the Upper School, is thriving and loves LCA. 2020 has been a year like no other and LCA has risen to the challenge to provide an excellent education. When the pandemic hit, LCA was able to pivot to online learning within a couple of weeks. The administration and teachers worked tirelessly to create a learning experience as close to what is provided in-person at LCA. The technology, support, consistent communication to all parents and students was in place. This school year, LCA has been in-person with some remote days. The transition between the two has been seamless. LCA has taken all the necessary precautions to allow students and staff to be in-person at LCA. Smaller student cohorts, daily health checks, clear safety guidelines, and social distancing have given us confidence in sending our child to LCA. We highly recommend Lexington Christian Academy!...
