Parent: I had a good experience at Tantasqua Regional High School. I think the education is very important to them and is very important to me. The staff are nice. Guidance department was also very helpful when students needed help. The sports are amazing. The coaches are great. There are many things you can get involved in from sports, clubs and activites. There is always something to do there! Although It's not that diverse, so if I had one thing to change. In all honesty, I defiantly would change the diversity...Read 93 Reviews

Alum: It's a good school overall but bullying still exists as most it does in most schools. Students of a higher social class often look down upon those from a lower one and may use "power" such as student council to turn there nose up at them. Teachers are a mixed bag, some of them eat, sleep, and breath learning. There are some teachers and office staff that give you the "dead eye" for taking a breath so be aware of that. It's heavily implied you may not get into college if your GPA is below a 3, this is far from the case, as you can get into college and even get scholarship money. It's safe as a whole, not much violence and I believe they have a resource officer now (It certainly wasn't easy to get one). It's not perfect but nothing really is so, on the whole, its pretty good. The tech programs are super solid, academic kids may turn up their nose at them but the teachers are down to Earth and will treat you like their own kids. Academic programs 7/10 Technical programs 10/10...Read 41 Reviews

Niche User: Incredible faculty. Great school for both academics and sports. A diversity of strengths for well-rounded students that simply can’t be matched by other private schools in Northern Virginia. Students genuinely support each other, even after they become alumni. It’s not uncommon for alumni to return from prestigious universities to share how well the school prepared them for the academic challenges ahead. Also, the robotics program is literally world class!...Read 81 Reviews

Parent: My boys (7th and 6th grades) just finished their first year at Fessy and it exceeded ALL of our expectations! I wish we had made the move sooner. The focus and attention on boys and their growth was outstanding - they are developing boys to meet today and tomorrow's complex challenges. The focus on group learning, team work and respect across all dimensions is seamless, but powerful. The International / Boarding student influence is a special element - it literally opens up the world to all boys at Fessy. There is no other school I know of in this age range that brings that breadth and depth of perspective to their school...The faculty and administration hail from varied backgrounds, geographies and give much valued texture and context for developing critical thinkers and leaders.Read 43 Reviews
