Senior: Yuma Catholic High School is a great school that appreciates all its students. They offer scholarships and have great resources for students to prepare for college. The counselors in this school are extremely reliable and will help you with anything you may need. Their staff are all with great experience on their subject and truly show passion when they are teaching. The school also focuses on their spirit by having the student council host pep rallies and students can be extremely supportive during sporting events. Another thing this school prioritizes is the students’ involvement in their community. For that reason they are required a certain amount of service hours in order to graduate in order to learn about independence and organization. Throughout the four years I have been in this school, I had a great experience and met some of the most wonderful people that I have ever met. Niche User: The amazing Gowan science academy has so much to offer. However, there are a few cons. One, their message of being the change, is stolen from desert view academy, right across the street. Also, they don’t offer a mandatory class in music, only instruments, some kids like music, but don’t like to do instruments. Same thing with art. They offer it in class, but don’t have a class where students fully express their creativity. Over all I would highly recommend this school, even if there are a few bad parts... Read 1 review

Senior: At first, I had to think about how many stars to rate this school. Cibola is the only high school I have been to, so it is difficult to measure it against other high schools because I have not attended them. Alum: While attending Centennial Middle School, I was actively involved in clubs and many after school activities. One of the best programs that I participated in while attending the middle school was the opportunity to walk to the elementary school across the street and TA for an elementary school teacher daily for the entire school year. This experience allowed me to gain public speaking skills, time management, class room management, self discipline/discipline of others, and overall confidence in my existing and newly learned skills. Senior: As a current senior at Gila Ridge Highschool, I can say that this school has made me feel understood and protected for the four years I have spent here. Though I did spend my first two years almost completely online, the school did a fantastic job of making sure that each and every student would still engage with school and academics. As you come onto the campus, you'll see the true beauty that this school holds. Gila Ridge offers a wide range of academics starting with your normal high school classes to honor classes, AP classes, and even dual enrollment classes for those who want to get a head start on college! Every teacher that I have had at this school has kept me on task and has shown that they teach with a purpose. Gila ridge offers a variety of sports, clubs, and organizations. For my four years of learning here, I have never felt unsafe at one point, (as we do have many security guards here looking out for each student.) Alum: My 12 years in Harvest Preparatory Academy were definitely sweet and exciting. I had a wonderful time during my high school year and I’m completely grateful for the staff team and teachers in this school. I’m an exceedingly good student with great ambitions and discipline thanks to the amazing work Harvest Preparatory Academy does. Harvest Preparatory Academy is not only a place that cares about you but provides diversity, safety and most importantly morality. One of my best experiences was being part of my school's research club. This time period completely changed my life. I was able to engage with science on another level and even got to represent my school in state competitions. This all showed me my capacities of being a great student and scientist.
