Crofton High School
#28 Best Public High Schools in Nebraska
- Crofton Community Schools, NE
- Rating 4.83 out of 5 6 reviews
Senior: My experience at Crofton High School has been very rewarding. In my opinion, it is the best public high school in Nebraska. Our standards are so high that every student is able to excel with more knowledge than the common teenager. Our teachers know how to push us and help us to where we need to be and even further. They want us to succeed and are close to each student. Crofton is supportive of the athletics and the activities. I am on the cross-country team and the whole football team will go to our home meet every year. It is a small school, so everyone knows each other (seniors know all freshman) and everyone is friendly. Crofton is an appropriate blue ribbon school swelling with excellent students and staff.

Alum: I was at Yankton for a few years, when we moved I felt very welcomed right away. I felt like the diversity of the school really helped to make it easier to fit in somewhere and to meet new people. I think the culture of the school was very good for the most part and I had a lot of fun times but was pushed to work hard. There is such a large variety of clubs that the school offers and I loved the variety and it really got me involved into more than I ever was at my other school. I was able to contribute more to the school, the community, and to myself. I was apart of sports for a little and I had some great experiences where I really felt the team come together especially on the cross country team. You felt like it was a little family and the coach was willing to be your friend but to also push you to do your best! I had a great experience at Yankton High School, I wish I came earlier and did all of my high school years there. I’m happy I got the opportunity to experience the school!
