Alum: It was truly a blessing to attend Gig Harbor High School. I look back at it as 4 of my most enjoyable years of my life, and I will forever thank Gig Harbor for placing me where I am today.
The biggest thing about GHHS was a strong sense of community--Fridays were for football and spirit weeks are always a blast. You knew practically all of your classmates in this school. Those are the people that you grew up with and have so many great memories to remember by. There's never a shortage of smiles and hellos in the hallways.
In terms of academics, Gig Harbor prepares every student for success. Most teachers are beloved by the students and are always willing to help! The classes are rigorous, particularly APs, but this is viewed as a positive, because Gig Harbor students perform extraordinarily well come testing season.
Sports are central to culture at GHHS! Two big things: FNL is incredible, and beat Peninsula! Roll Tide!
Once a Tide, always a Tide. All love for my ohana!

Middle School Student: This school provides a very strong academic program. However, it has gotten away from it's christian values. The school needs to rethink its direction if it wants to keep the word christian as part of it's school name.
