Senior: I am currently a senior at Kirksville High School. I really enjoy the class sizes and how you get to know the teachers very well. All of the teachers are friendly and willing to help! I have taken many dual credit classes and they have prepared me very well for college. At KHS there are also lots of clubs and sports to be involved in. This year they even added in a Girls Wrestling team. Our school has recently made many improvements for safety and even before the improvements I always felt safe. Our sports teams are hard working and determined, the games are fun to watch!... Read 60 reviews

Parent: My kids have been attending Basis since before the pandemic, and we are so impressed! Rich academic curriculum, good inclusion of the arts, excellent opportunity for differentiation based on student needs. The teachers are dedicated and so are the parents to the kids' success. While the administration has been bumpy as the school has gotten established (only 5 years old), they earned their stripes during the pandemic. Organized, safety-focused and diligent about communication. We supplement school with sports leagues and scouting outside of school, which many parents do. Easy to do given the extensive choice you have in the DC area. Also appreciate the international study body with impressively bright students from all over the world. A real meritocracy, unlike other private schools that admit based on VIP status or connections/donations. In the next few years, this school will only continue to advance its place in the rankings.... Read 47 reviews

Junior: Brashear elementary and high school is what you would think of as a small authentic school. It is the coolest little town to grow up in and the kids treat each other with respect. The teachers are great and the clubs are great. S.H.OUT club is a community service club, FBLA, Student Council, Art Club, Math and Science Club, NHS, and Renaissance. Softball team is pretty great but sport teams need improvement. Brashear Band is absolutely the best in their conference. They were the only school in 2017 to get a 1 rating of excellence on their band piece at contest. Absolut talent and a great organization to join, they have fun but work hard to accomplish what others say they can't. Brashear school is a great small school for your kids to grow up in.... Senior: It is a small school atmosphere that makes you feel at home! Each student is unique and when combined they are a creative, supportive, and powerful group of kids! The students cheer during every game and are proud to say they are from Brashear, even though most people have no clue where it is; the athletics and organizations are some of the best in the state of Missouri! All in all, Brashear is a great place! Come check us out!... Read 3 reviews

Senior: Classes overall were great, with a few exceptions. The athletics programs are great, other than some coach decisions. Extra-curricular activities and groups are amazing for personal growth, but you definitely need to find where you fit in because the sponsors are not for everyone.... Read 5 reviews

Parent: Stone Ridge is an amazing school home for our 3 daughters. It has spirit, focus, intentionality, academic rigor, beautiful facilities, and fabulous, caring and dedicated teachers. Our kids are genuinely excited to go to school each and every day. Thoughtful leadership from the Admin team, and the school is academically firmly planted in the 21st century. The students are nurtured to become our future leaders who care and give of themselves to make our world better. Could not be more delighted with a fabulous school.... Read 128 reviews

Senior: I love CIS and the relationship it provides students with peers and teachers. It's so small, which can be a challenge if you grow up here your entire life because you don't get outside the little bubble, but with the right outside world exposure it can be the best experience ever for a student. Teachers are so involved with students' lives because you can really create such a tight bond, and with other students you become friends so quickly because frankly you have no choice but to love each other like family....
