Senior: Monticello High School has a great balance between sports and academics. Coaches understand were well that a players grades comes before their sport because most of the coaches are teachers. This also allows students and teachers to build connects that will last a long time. The food at MHS currently is very rough due to the government, however the cooks always have a smile on their faces everyday. MHS preaches to all its students to get involved, and I highly suggest doing whatever you can because you will meet people that will be your friends forever.... Read 86 reviews

Parent: There are so many great things about this school! First, because it is a Christian school, objective truth is acknowledged, taught, and honored. This includes teaching about our Savior, Jesus Christ, who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. This also means the standards are high. SCCS strives for excellence in all aspects of school life because that is most glorifying to our Savior. This leads the second best thing about the school: the teachers. The teachers here truly love and care for their students. They see this as more than just a jobs, but as a calling, and it shows. Next, the families of the school are great. When the parents of all the students also have "skin in the game," they push the students to work hard, get along, honor Christ. All are on the same team. Since we are to love God with body, mind, and soul, they prioritize arts and athletics alongside academics. Things I wish were different include the difficulties due to limited budgets funded by tuition.... Read 20 reviews

Alum: I have several good things to say about this Highschool. First the teachers for the most part are wonderful and make learning fun. Secondly, the sports programs are slowly gettng better and they feel like you are part of a family not just a team. Some cons about the school is that the way rules and such are enforced could change, and the administration, according to rumors when I was in school, loved to do things in a "shady" manner, but whose to say what is true or not. Overall this school was enjoyable and did prepare me/ helped me get into college and with a scholarship, so I cannot complain!... Read 21 reviews

Alum: I went to the LSA from K-12. Every aspect of my academic life has revolves around this school. The staff was always very nice. The teachers actually wanted to help and be friends with the students. All the athletics were fun and successful. Overall, even though School is never fun, the LSA made it their goal to make the students have fun, teach students more advanced classes and skills than the public school system, and to show us our Lord Jesus Christ. I very much enjoyed my 13 years at the LSA and I will miss it dearly.... Read 17 reviews

Sophomore: I was hesitant with the choice to transfer my schooling to online and to ICL Academy. Will I learn? Will I have friends? The list goes on and on, but my concerns are no longer relevant following my first year of online schooling at ICL. I am shocked by my level of consistently motivated spirit to learn. I can confidently give the credit to the applicableness of my learning. I can easily relate it to myself. I am amazed by the increased efficiency during school time; through a good balance of structured learning, and freedom when necessary. Everyone has different needs and schedules. Icl does a tremendous job with flexibility. For example, I found I had some extra time during the day, so I enrolled in a college level psychology class and two more rigorous classes at they're sister school: Dwight Global. Most importantly, the community is amazing. Almost everyone participates on a high level, and there is no shortage of thoughts and opinions being dished out in class. 10/10 rec to ICl!...
