Junior: I have attended Granville Early College for three years now, and I couldn't ask for a better high school education. I feel extremely prepared for college, thanks to the incredible teachers, and my experiences at Vance Granville Community College. I have noticed that education and the well-being of the students at Granville Early College are the top priority, and staff make sure students are stimulated and taken care of. The only thing that I wish that the school had more of, were extracurricular activities. Not necessarily sports, but days other than the required "wellness days" where there is an activity that everyone in the school can participate in together. Senior: My experience at Henderson Collegiate High School is very good. I would describe my experience here as a positive one because the school really sets you up for success. On a daily basis its for preparing oneself for college, teaching you many responsibilities, and values of a acronym we use “PRIDE” the utilization of said word is very essential for the development and shaping for us students attending, because it teaches us of: pride, responsibility, integrity, determination, and enthusiasm. Middle School Student: I think my experience with VCEC was a good experience. The first thing i want to talk about is the environment. The environment was great. Because it gave me a glimpse and a preview on how college is going to be when i go to a four year university. Another thing is that i made a lot of great friends that i will have coming out of high school. A few things i would like to change is my high school class. I feel like that the rooms are very small. Another thing that i want to change is i want to bring more students to the school because i think that we dont have enough students in our school. Parent: CCS offers small class sizes with a caring and loving staff. My children have attended CCS for 8 years and have flourished during those years. While I send them there foremost for the Biblical integration, the attention to student safety makes me know that my children are in a safe environment where I do not need to worry about them during the day.
