Senior: Wichita Collegiate School is a truly fantastic establishment that provides a one-of-a-kind education. I have attended Collegiate since preschool, and I am forever amazed at the level of care and dedication each and every teacher and faculty member possesses. The school provides a positive learning environment and boundless opportunities for its students. Not only does Collegiate have stellar academics, but they also have so many other experiences to enrich the life of each and every student- whether they are in preschool or a senior in high school! Sports, fine arts, vocal music department, band, and the amazing STEM building and innovation labs provide a unique experience. Our teachers expect our best efforts and the students expect their teachers to be willing to help with every step. Collegiate students are no strangers to challenges. Senior: I truly enjoyed attending Andover Central. Throughout my 4-years of attending the school, I always felt welcomed and knew there were people behind my back whether it be the staff and faculty or even my own friends. The school made me enjoy my time as a high schooler and I would not have wanted to go to any other school. Andover Central has helped me become prepared for college than I ever thought I would be and I will be forever grateful for that. Freshman: The small environment creates an opportunity for students to form better relationships with the majority of their classmates. Teachers are very friendly and you can have more one-on-one instruction time. Teachers care more about your understanding of a topic rather than just learning the material to do well on a test. Overall, it is a very welcoming school, and with all of the classes, it broadens one’s worldview. Students are given the opportunity to grow in their faith and grow in knowledge of their savior. Junior: Northeast has a diverse student body; everybody has the opportunity to find their group. There are many clubs and opportunities to be involved with the community inside and outside of the school. More so than in any other high school in the district, Northeast has a lot of school spirit. Senior: Wichita East High School is a wonderful school to go to for everybody. East offers a wide variety from classes, ranging from Art History all the way to Engineering. The academics at East are phenomenal, offering an International Baccalaureate program and a handful of AP courses. East is also one of the most diverse schools in Kansas. The school spirit at East is unlike any other high school I've seen. Every football and basketball game, the student section is filled to the brim with students cheering on their team. Spirit Weeks and Pep Rallies are also a big deal here, everyone gets super into it. The one thing I will say, though, is that often times the students can be a bit disruptive, but it's fairly easy to avoid that. Senior: The environment in this school is just unmatched. Being a part of this high school made me feel involved, special, and thankful.
