Niche User: Trinity has been a great overall education experience. The academics are strong for a private school, the school offers plenty of activities and extracurriculars for students in the fifth grade and up, and provide students with fundamentals needed for their future. As a high school student, I would've hoped for a better Guidance program, as a lot of work for college and standardized test prep was done on my own or with outside guidance counselors. Middle School Student: Overall from a student standpoint, it’s pretty nice. I don’t have any major complaints. The food at lunch is okay, but I prefer to pack. Middle School Student: I have been a student at ECS from K-8. I cannot stress enough the how amazing and beneficial the staff have been. Every. Single. Teacher. I’ve had has been radically committed to the mission of this school (except one but dont worry). Daily I see teachers speaking on the same level as students and genuinely listening to their needs. The motto “we grow citizens” is exactly what is happening in this environment. Not only is the school devoted to cultivating learning that is beneficial for the future for students, teaching empathy and compassion, they also have lots of cool plants around each campus :). One of my most recent math teachers was one of the most influential people I have encountered in my 14 year life. He taught me so much about how to be compassionate, devoted, and vulnerable. Not only that, he taught about the deepest workings of math and encouraged students to ask questions and explore. ECS is filled with incredible teachers like this. Senior: Hi everybody! My name is Gemma and I’m a senior literary arts major here at Westinghouse. Where do I even start? Westinghouse is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I am proud to say I am a first year student, meaning I came to the school the very first year it opened. In the three years I have been at Westinghouse I can say this is a school like no other. The genuine love and support from staff and fellow students is something I have never seen anywhere else, and really makes this school the place it is. Parent: I am very happy with the education my son is receiving at Propel Mckeesport. I believe his teachers genuinely care about him. Last year when he was in first grade he got off the bus excited to tell me that his teacher (Ms. Regan) was an excellent football player and she was playing with he and his friends during recess. I was impressed that she took that time to interact with the kids rather than talking with other teachers the way my own elementary school teachers had. I do however, wish that there was more opportunities for parents to volunteer in the classroom. While we do have a "meet and greet" before school starts to learn of any new policies there is not currently an open house held early in the school year to see what your child has done and how he/she is adjusting to a new grade, new teachers, and a new classroom expectations. While I would like to see those changes made, I am happy to know my son goes to a school where the teachers make him feel like part of a family!... Read 4 reviews

Niche User: My experience here at Propel is okay. I do still go to propel and I have some issue's here and there but there are lots of nice kids and I'm friends with most of the whole upper and bottom floor. But my learning there at Propel Homestead is amazing and I have all good grades and I always get an award cause I have good behavior.
