Parent: What a great place this is! The kids here are genuinely happy and spirited. The culture is upbeat and supportive. Teachers really get to know their students well, and it is abundantly evident that they care about them. ...The curriculum is innovative. Advanced seminars are offered, as well as independent study. There are traditional AP classes as well as Honors courses. Athletics are great, and there is a strong theater and arts program. Some prospective parents worry that MBS is not rigorous enough, and that their child won't get into an elite college. In fact, I was one of them. Turns out that simply was not true! Your child can get a great education here, and will be well prepared for college, whichever one they choose. Oh, and bonus - they will have a wonderful and well rounded high school experience. What more could a parent hope for?...Read 120 Reviews

Senior: My favorite thing about Morris Hills High School is the diversity. I am so lucky to be able to go to a school where so many cultures are represented. There is a place for everyone to feel welcome across many cultures and many interests. Part of that is the size of the school - it is big and diverse, but part of it is the environment that the teachers and students create. I am friends with both students in my classes and my teachers, and I think that creates a positive environment in the school. On top of that, I am proud to say I attend this school because of it's amazing academic achievements. When I talk to my friends in other schools, they do not even have the option of taking the courses that I do, showing the great opportunities at Morris Hills. The only thing is that I wish they had a dance club/activity, but there is always the opportunity to start your own club, which earns back that star!...Read 303 Reviews

Parent: As a long time Gaynor parent, I can't say enough positive things about the school. Our son attended Gaynor for nine years and is now a high school sophomore. He is excelling in a highly competitive STEM-based curriculum. We attribute much of his success to Gaynor, where he learned 'how to learn', and to advocate for himself. Our daughter is in her sixth year at Gaynor and is learning how to overcome dyslexia. Gaynor's use of the Orton-Gillingham method in combination with individualized instruction has made a world of difference for our daughter. All in all, we thank our lucky stars that we found Gaynor...Read 3 Reviews

Parent: We have been at ACS since our daughter was in PreK4 and just love the school. Because the class sizes are small the children are able to build and maintain strong relationships with the teachers, administrators, and most importantly their peers. This allows for the kids/administration to truly be there for each other, to encourage, praise, guide, support, and love one another. As parents, (if you are able) there is opportunity to get involved with the school via class parties, field trips, service projects, sports activities, fine arts program. I love that the children learn through the classical christian education. They are surrounded by peers and faculty that love God and strive to live a Christian life. Our daughter is now in 3rd grade we are looking forward to what the future will bring at ACS...Read 35 Reviews

Parent: Trinity Christian School has been such a blessing in our family life. Solid Christian instruction coupled with quality academics have shaped our children and teenagers in their thinking and living. We never have to drag our kids out the door to school… they are delighted to attend every day, which is a testimony to the safe atmosphere and nurturing environment the staff and school community have created. Junior: Going to Morris Knolls high school is definitely an experience. I would say administration and most teachers are very good. Senior: Morris Catholic is small and as such offers more personal time with teachers. It has a decent sports program. Morris Catholic encourages students to participate in clubs and activities to foster long-term relationships. Morris Catholic is faith based but has students of varied religions that attend. Morris Catholic has a strong arts program and many students are involved in theater arts. In my opinion, Morris Catholic does not have a strong science program especially if you are not in a higher track. Parent: The 1:1 teaching, flexible scheduling, block schedule, homework cafe, and so many other structures allow Fusion to create an environment that is very high performing but low stress. Kids are able to do their best without constant demands and excessive or unrealistic expectations; between the Seth absorbed in 1:1 classrooms and the ability to complete homework during cafe time due to block scheduling, I am amazed at how much my child learned and how much less anxiety went into the process. ...The team in Morristown is thoughtful, kind, and creative. They always are looking for opportunities to help, and also maintain a very chill and friendly environment for the kids. I am very grateful to Fusion and have seen great improvements for my child in their academics, sense of well being, and overall confidence. Highly recommend.Read 5 Reviews

Alum: A small school with 2 classes per grade and 20 children per classroom. It is one of the 5 elementary schools throughout Rockaway Township. Guidance uses their resources to do supplemental brain work with the children every other week. Spanish is instructed once a week. The third grade students learn how to play the recorder in music class. The librarian gets them once a week to introduce them to the library and where they can find things ... One of the teachers is older and moving towards retirement and the second teacher is young and just starting out. That was pretty much how it was laid out throughout all of the grades...Read 2 Reviews

Alum: The school is very big, clean and surrounded by a lot of land. There is something for everyone in all of the after school activities offered. After school activities typically run for an hour after school at which time there is a late bus provided to bring the students home. Class sizes are a nice size ... anywhere from 20 -30 students per class depending on the subject. We had a very pleasant experience here. The school play was my activity after school. A lot of time is required for this after school activity and it typically is over 2 marking periods. I also enhanced my violin skills in their huge orchestra as well as chorus classes. Their arts program encompasses everything. There is a jazz band, wind band, steel drum band, chorale choir, art club and many many more options. Most of the students are bused to school. Everyone is assigned to a bus. However, there are some students that live very close to the school and choose to walk to school as long as they have a parents note...Read 13 Reviews

Parent: Peck is incredibly strong in both academics and social/emotional learning. Our first year was Andy Delinsky's first year. Our children have benefitted from all of the great changes he has made, from strengthening the math and science programs, to two teachers in every room in the lower school, to the capital improvements. Additionally, both of our children have have thrived at Peck. From one teacher giving encouragement early on to our daughter around her problem solving ability, which has led to her excelling in math, we have experienced first hand how much the teachers care about the students. Additionally, Peck teaches the children to break down large projects into smaller chunks from an early age (first grade). My expectations were exceeded. Socially and emotionally, they have responded in a caring manner if there have been challenges (which there have), and they have worked along side us to help our children feel supported and to grow...Read 16 Reviews

Parent: We have sent our kids to GRTWA since my daughter was 3 years old and my son was 5 months. We love the individualized curriculum that challenges our kids where they need to be challenged academically, and offers additional support where they need that support, both academically and emotionally. My kids love learning, and I love that at the end of the day they can’t wait to show me or tell me what they did in school that day! The curriculum encourages the students to become creative thinkers and problem-solvers, and to care about their families, communities, and the planet. They are learning to be good citizens, and good students. The school also does a great job of incorporating technology into the curriculum and supporting students and families during the pandemic...Read 12 Reviews
