Young Women's Preparatory Academy
#38 Best Public High Schools in Florida
Alum: I have graduated from here several years ago, and attended from 6th-12th grade. It was, and to my understanding, still remains, an excellent school. The greatest advantage about going here is the ability to get t know your teachers very, very well. My advice to excel in this school is the following:I. Bond with the teachers: They are highly skilled, and care deeply about their students. Mine were mentors and confidants. They will help you with whatever you need to get where you want to go, and indeed, help you find out where that is. ...II. Particular to high school - be aware of the programmes offered to you: I attribute my success in university to specialising while I was still in high school. YOU CAN DO THIS - you do not have to take a general class load throughout high school. The opportunities for scholarships, academic achievements, and learning about a subfield, are multitudinous. DO DUAL ENROLLMENT. It's a leadership school - be a leader in the navigation of your life!...Read 118 Reviews
