Senior: As a senior at CSG who's spent 7 years here, I've been at this school for a long time. CSG has a lot of good things about it, but there are some things you should be aware of before attending. CSG has excellent teachers, and most students here form close relationships with them. You can always meet individually to ask for help, and they all have office hours/free periods to faciliate that. There's a wide variety of classes here that get more interesting as you progress, and the academics are difficult but not impossible. There is a significant amount of homework that can become overwhelming at times. Sports here are my least favorite part. If you're not already "good" at one before coming, you will not get better. The food here is AMAZING, and you'd be pressed to find better food anywhere else. This is initially why I came lol. Diversity here is on the race in racial, gender (yes, gender), and socioeconomic areas which is nice to see. The social life here is severely lacking.... Read 65 reviews

Senior: I have been very pleased with my experience at St. Charles. When I was an incoming Freshman I didn't know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised with the strong academics and culture. I think it has prepared me for college more so than any other school in the state of Ohio would have been able to and has allowed me to create strong friendships along the way. Our sports programs are some of the most competitive in the Columbus area. They give the students room to grow as an athlete and as an individual. St. Charles Prep. truly shines in its teaching of the maths and sciences. It has some of the best teachers in those subjects, and they can be helpful if you thinking of going into a field with a heavy emphasis on those subjects. St. Charles Prep. has taught me how to manage my time, strengthen my academics, and help me create lifelong relationships. Senior: The school provides great opportunities for the people who really take advantage of them. People who are able to get ahead and take college classes while in high school can graduate with many college credits. However, there are many kids who get stuck and struggle to come up with enough credits to graduate. The school is not built for everyone. Also, the administration does not always support the kids in all their needs. Senior: I was very skeptical about going to a private high school when coming out of middle school. I went to a public middle school and I was not looking forward to leaving all my friends behind, wearing a uniform, and so much change. When I arrived at desales I could tell that the environment was different and unfamiliar. At first I viewed that as a bad thing. Over time I recognized that there is nothing to be afraid of. DeSales presents its students with a lot of work and at first I saw that as overwhelming. It did not take me long to realize that it is posible to accomplish goals that may seem out of reach. The school has places to go at all times of the day if you need help with math or writing, and the small class sizes mean that you can receive individual help from your teachers when needed. I am a senior now and I would be the first to say I have a few bones to pick with the school after four years. The price of school lunch went up this year. Just between us, I would do it again.... Senior: Bishop Hartley is a great place to get higher education. I am not Catholic but the teachers make it an open discussion for non Catholics to voice their opinions or say what they do in their religion. You meet some very solid friends there as well. I have made great relationships with teachers and the lunch ladies. You wouldn’t think much of people who serve you food but to me they do more they do much more. They always want to know how you are and how school is going for you. I’ve had the best life advice and overall conversations from them. There was one lunch in particular that I’ll never forget. My lunch account was low and I didn’t know, but one lunch lady gave me some grace. I enjoy the women who work in the cafeteria. They are filled with so much joy and are always ready for a conversation. It’s a nice break from teachers and just being able to have a conversation about anything, You while learn in high school that a “Thank you” or a “yes ma’am and yes sir” goes along way.... Senior: I came to this school my junior year (currently a senior) and I love it. The faculty are all amazing and truly care about each and every student. The only downsides I would mention are mostly due to the small size of the school. I enjoy having smaller class sizes, but a limited amount of students also means less available classes to take, like AP classes or electives. Junior: I absolutely LOVE Olentangy Berlin High School! We are a new school having only been open since 2018, yet we have already won Varsity Brands “Most Spirited High School” award in 2022! The culture within our walls is incredible! You’ll often hear both students and teachers alike saying “shoulder-to-shoulder” signifying that we are family. Every Friday nearly 100% of staff and students wear the school colors: double blue! Every student knows their “home” address (the school’s address). Our student section knows and abides by the conviction that “we cheer for our school, NOT against the other school,” so you will not never hear trash-talking at games or events from our Bears, but you will hear LOUD support for all our sports teams and clubs! Football players attend soccer games, cross country runners cheer at volleyball games - because we’re all one family and we support one another on! Senior: Westerville Central High School is a great school, no matter if you're looking at the teachers, or just the overall academics. Though there are some disadvantages to attending a school like Westerville Central, the positives far outweigh the negatives. No one will find better opportunities than Westerville Central, even if they looked all over Ohio. I am just starting my senior year and I have not had one bad teacher during my whole high school career. I have also taken a number of AP classes, and passed all of my AP tests, thanks to these teachers. The various opportunities mentioned previously include AP world language classes, a number of great music classes, and college-level math courses that aren't offered at any other school around. Senior: I think that westerville north is a great school to go to. All the teachers really care about their students and there are great opportunities to get ahead in school. I took a few ccp classes that have really helped me get ready for college. The school does a lot to support all of the clubs. I love that the school has so many options for people to get involved. They make assemblies interesting and fun to go to! I've learned a lot from many of my teachers, they have been very engaging in class making learning fun all the while still teaching the material. My counselors have always been very easy to reach out to. If I had any questions about school or getting ready for college it was easy for me to get ahold of them. I believe my school does a really good job trying to be understanding and helpful to students and has been very understanding this year during covid and helping students by providing resources of helpful tips to be successful in school.... Junior: I love this school! The atmosphere is great and there are so many learning opportunities. It's also great because it is a small school, so I pretty much know most of the people that go there, so it's easy to make friends.
