Sophomore: Going to the Ellis school has been (so far), the best 4 years of my life. I came in lower school and have learned so much and grown. The teachers are a mixed bag; not all are great but I feel like that may be the case at many schools. Athletics are pretty good and the arts program is great! My biggest problem at Ellis is the guidance counselor. She does not do a great job at her job but there are many other teachers one could go to for advice instead! I highly recommend sending your child to Ellis :)... Read 36 reviews

Parent: Daughters immersed in a strong college prep environment fostering competition/excellence. Desire stronger focus on a “love of learning” rather than students in pursuit of high GPAs. Troubling incidence with academic dishonesty this year among sophomores, particularly members of JOA; consequences not on par with gravity of the actions. Mixed messages to students not involved. Several outstanding teachers, most notably in humanities, producing solid writers. With STEM focus, need stronger hiring/retention of math/science teachers & better AP outcomes. Exceptional college counselor! Service opportunities are solid. Wish for greater focus on CATHOLIC IDENTITY, especially given that these young women have an integral role to play in an increasingly secular society. Exceptional experiences with tennis, XC, and swim teams. Refreshing to see coaches who actively engage all athletes, not just the best, who also promote leadership, discipline, perseverance and a real sense of belonging.... Read 419 reviews

Niche User: Trinity has been a great overall education experience. The academics are strong for a private school, the school offers plenty of activities and extracurriculars for students in the fifth grade and up, and provide students with fundamentals needed for their future. As a high school student, I would've hoped for a better Guidance program, as a lot of work for college and standardized test prep was done on my own or with outside guidance counselors. But, Trinity definitely is a wonderful environment for learning and growing in friendship, abilities, and faith.... Read 67 reviews

Parent: This school is remarkable due to its small size, giving it the ability to truly address the needs of each individual student. There are no bureaucratic layers here - issues are addressed immediately and with fairness. There is an excellent culture in the school, which starts at the top. The teachers and administration care a great deal about the success of their students, make accommodations when necessary, yet maintain academic rigor. Very nice environment for learning!... Works Here: I joined the Seton LaSalle community last year, and I am so amazed at how kind, friendly, and talented the students are! Current students tell me that Seton LaSalle is a place where everyone belongs and that it feels like a family. Parents tell us that they value our faith-filled atmosphere where everyone respects each other and their environment. We often hear from alumni, who tell us that the school has never looked better and is unrecognizable from their time here in previous decades. Here are some of the latest updates made during the past few years: -New gym lighting with LEDs found in many NCAA gyms around the country -New lockers -Security camera upgrades -Auditorium upgrades that include a high power laser projector, turn-key sound system, and new carpet -New classroom doors -A beautiful Innovation Lab and Media Center We strive to help every student become the best version of themselves, prepared to go to college, and on to successful, purposeful careers.... Sophomore: I have attended Hillcrest Christian Academy since my sixth grade year and plan to continue throughout my high school years. The school is equipped with plenty of classrooms and space for students; the facility is beautiful. The high school has recently added classes from Geneva College that eleventh and twelfth grade students can take to receive college credit, wonderfully equipping students for a bright future. The teachers are kind, caring, personal, engaging, and a positive influence on the students at Hillcrest. The school provides a Christian environment that provides a positive experience for children and teenagers as they go through school. I highly recommend Hillcrest, as the school has been very influential and a wonderful blessing in my life as well as other students and families involved in the school.... Read 10 reviews

Senior: My experience with Imani Christian Academy has been great! The environment is very supportive and the staff are there to tend to your needs. The school is small, however, you are able to make personal connections with people. One change I would like to see is the level of education, clubs and activities, and diversity. Imani Christian does not offer AP courses for people who should have the chance to experience being in an AP class setting, as well as provide a selective list for clubs. Also, Imani doesn't have much diversity between different races. Besides its differences, my experience with Imani has been truly great, and I am proud I can say that.... Read 28 reviews

Parent: Moving to CDS was the absolute best move for my daughter and our whole family. CDS's approach to teaching the whole child, providing enriching and challenging lessons while encouraging students to flourish in a safe, kind and positive environment, has been such a wonderful experience for us! Nothing makes me happier as a mother, and an educator, as the continuous growth that I see in her - academically, socially, emotionally and mentally. From the first day, the staff was welcoming, supportive and patient. We love the transparency and communication provided by the teachers and the school as a whole. The needs of all students are met with grace, kindness and compassion. The positive school culture creates a space where students can grow and learn academically. We transferred her to Jubilee for 4th-6th grade and she now Loves learning and has overcome her reading struggles. She graduated from Jubilee with honors. The small class sizes allow the teachers to help each student on an individual level and they make learning Fun for students! I also appreciated the emotional and spiritual support the teachers and staff gave to my daughters throughout the years. It has been a blessing to have a place to send my kids where they can grow in their faith and academics. We have also loved their hands on learning approach and the monthly field experiences are Awesome and add so much to the curriculum. I cannot say enough good things about this school. Parent: This school has been a fantastic experience from kindergarten through 8th grade. Everyone has been so kind, teachers are very responsive & the students truly care about each other. Zero tolerance for bullying. Curriculum is very challenging. The 7th/8th grade math teacher is the best & most challenging math teacher I’ve ever come across. My son took the high school placement test and scored in the top 5% nationally. If you can get through math at this school and say you weren’t prepared for high school, per a previous review, then you must have cheated your way through. The math teacher provides statistics at curriculum night and a very high number of his students test into honors math in high school, not just the kids in the advanced math class but about half of the kids in the regular math class as well. Yes there are rules and yes they are strict, but nothing more than what you will deal with when you enter your career, they prepare you for real life!... Read 4 reviews

Our Middle School experience with smaller class/grade sizes, an academically challenging curriculum, as well as being welcomed into a loving and supportive community has helped our children and family as a whole! Incorporating a faith-based education into our lives has encouraged our children to develop a greater appreciation for different beliefs/religions as well as strengthening their own spiritual awareness. Senior: I have attended The Perkiomen School since 6th grade. Because of the small class sizes and overall small school size, I was able to develop friendships that I expect to have forever. I was a shy, reserved kid and looking back, appreciate the way the teachers were able to engage us in the discussions. In most of my classes, the desks are arranged in a circle to promote discussion and interaction among students. I also appreciate the ability to play on a sports team, despite your skill level. As an average athlete, I likely would not have been able to participate in any varsity sport in my public high school. Now as a senior at Perk looking back, my attendance has fostered my independence, confidence, social skills and has definitely prepared me for the next step....College!... Read 62 reviews
