Parent: This exemplary community is nestled in the middle of Long Island. Yet it feels like a small town. BES is the lone elementary school which feeds into the lone grade school. The families are tight-knit. Cub Scouts, Brownies, Lacrosse, STEM Club, Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Track and many other extra curricular are supported through town-wide social media and an ever-present PTA.
The Teachers and Administrators support, hear, and listen to parents; even through this current pandemic. Communication is excellent. Students with disabilities are identified before Kindergarten and given every opportunity to work through or within the constraints of that disability.
You can't spell 'best' without BES.
