Junior: For the area and the resources available, Trail is honestly a pretty good school. There's a good sense of community and a pretty diverse set of programs available. I do wish that there were more academic-based extracurriculars, but I do realize there probably wouldn't be enough interest. Most of the teachers seem dedicated to their subjects and their students. I wish there was a wider variety of AP classes available (there are only 5 - Calculus AB, US History, World History, US Government and Politics, and English), if you know what to take advantage of, you can actually get a pretty rigorous course schedule. I do really appreciate how involved the community gets in events such as football games and other sporting events, concerts, and the homecoming bonfire.... Read 77 reviews

Parent: Our family relocated from northern New Jersey this past summer so our daughter could attend Aim Academy. We do not regret our decision one bit. The administrators, teachers and staff are friendly, approachable and professional. We receive consistent communication from the school and our questions are always answered in an open and timely manner. Our daughter has gone on many fun and relevant field trips and participated in service oriented projects that are embedded in the curriculum. Aim provides consistent, reliable progress monitoring which means when you sit down with teachers for conferences you receive not only qualitative but also quantitative data. Perhaps the most impressive is the dedication and flexibility of Aim as they work with students and families to ensure they are providing the best program for each student.... Read 12 reviews

Parent: A real school that teaches each subject by the child’s level NOT the grade level. If the child is fifth grade math, that is the class they are in regardless of age. The same child may have a seventh grade reading level and that is the class they are put. They are not stifled because of age or pushed through a system because they finished a grade. I can’t say my child is in fifth or seventh. I say that my child is in school, because my child is in several different grade level classes. The school caters to my child and are fully transparent in everything they do.... Read 1 review

Parent: The curriculum is thoughtful, encourages critical thinking and think outside the box. While the school has a strong focus in math and science, my child is getting a well rounded education with classes in Language Arts, History, Community, etc., electives in art, foreign languages and history of food as well as after school fun like drama, sports and animal lovers clubs! The daily updates are informative detailing by class what my child did that day and I like the sneak peak on what the higher grade levels are learning/reading/doing. The teachers encourage the students to advocate for themselves but they are always on hand to help! My child has developed strong friendships with kids at various grade levels which shows that there is a common comradery and closeness in this community. The best review I can give comes from my child who says that Ideaventions Academy "is the best school ever!" and we wholeheartedly agree.... Read 7 reviews

Junior: Before I transferred schools, I felt as if I was being restricted by my old district. I had reached the top academically and through extracurriculars. I decided to investigate ways to further my education and I found new and better opportunities at PAHS. Although a month into my freshman school year, I made the tough decision to transfer, and I have never regretted it. In this new environment, I found numerous ways to flourish and expand my high school career.... Read 27 reviews
