Sophomore: I went here from 2nd through 6th grade, and because of it have stayed in CSA schools all through highschool. CSA Lincoln always found ways to challenge me, and most importantly teach me how to work and communicate well with people. The teachers were ALWAYS amazing and took the time to help me, and I can't stress enough how great of a school this was to have growing up...Read 3 Reviews

Senior: Columbus North High School offered several programs that not only prepared me for college but gave me dual credit as well. It hosted many AP programs taught by teachers who were passionate about their area. Their partnership with C4 allowed me to earn college credit while learning about my future career. Their clubs- specifically North Drama- was a wonderfully funded club that increased my participation and interest in theatre. The school also fosters an impressive school culture that unites everyone as I felt I could connect to different groups of students. The only thing I could find that needs improvement is the lack of diversity, which the school is trying to accept and work through. Overall, great clubs, school culture, and readiness for college!...Read 351 Reviews

Alum: Great school! My favorite part about being a student at Columbus East was having the freedom to be independent and make choices for yourself. It was the perfect amount of structure to where students were held accountable but also given responsibilities and independence. I feel like this really prepared me for college by teaching me time management and responsibility. The teachers are great, office staff is great and the school is always clean and nice!...Read 223 Reviews

Parent: My husband and I wanted an inclusive school that would be an extension of our family, and we found that in the Burgundy Community. We made the decision to send my son to Burgundy in JK and looking back now as he is in the midst of 2nd grade, choosing Burgundy was the best decision. Burgundy is a nurturing community that fosters the whole child, ensuring life long learners. Burgundy leans into a child's individual character and ensures every child is heard and has a voice. My son loves Burgundy and is thriving. I know without a doubt that Burgundy will lay the foundation for my son's continued success, not only in his future academic pursuits, but in life as a whole!...Read 10 Reviews

Alum: The level of academics was less than expected for a private school. Out of about 6 teachers, only one was rigorous enough to be helpful in preparing for college. Chapel each week was a nice bonus of attending a Christian school, but the silly and immature games held beforehand were frustrating and did not encourage a learning environment. Due to the small number of students, available clubs were practically nonexistent, with the exception of drama. Chromebooks are a helpful resource provided for everyone during the day! Study periods were consistently full of messing around and monitors did not manage noise levels or horseplay. Overall, considering the small size of the school, most teachers did care about students and invest in their education...Read 13 Reviews

Alum: It was amazing! I loved the teachers and had a very reliable class. It may have been strict at times but I couldn't have been more prepared for high school. One of my favorite things about our school was that we were a family. Everyone knew each other, cared for each other and worked to make sure everyone was ok and getting everything done. The first thing I noticed when entering high school was wow, why is no one doing there work. At St. Bs, it was never an option to not do work, because there were no second chances. I mean, I get so many extra credits and redo opportunities that I don't really have to worry about forgetting an assignment because I know I can make it up. Now that we are E-Learning the biggest thing teachers are noticing is that no one is doing work, and I personally believe that is because it was never truly enforced. Overall there was a lot I learned from being at St. Bs and I would never wish to have gone to another school...Read 3 Reviews

Alum: This school is small but that makes White Creek what it is. With small class sizes you get to know your classmates and teachers so you can get as much help as possible and really feel as though you belong. Parent: I have one alum and two middle schools sons at Lowell. The younger two started in Kindergarten and the oldest in third after attending our local public elementary school. Although my sons are completely different, Lowell has managed to understand and bring out the best in each of them. My oldest, the quiet introvert at public school, was completely brought out of his shell and is now a confident 10th grader. Lowell taught him self advocacy. My younger two have been encouraged to use their over abundance of self-confidence to boost other children up. Thanks to Lowell, they are empathetic leaders. Lowell has helped me parent my boys to be their best selves -- confident yet kind, thoughtful and public-spirited. All of that PLUS a leading edge curriculum that allows them to easily attend the top public and independent high schools in the city!...Read 13 Reviews
